Adding fish and live rock to the list now. Fish pics are below. I will be pulling the live rock tomorrow so I can catch the fish. Once the fish are gone the live rock will be available. I am looking to sell all rock together once the fish are gone. The only pests in the tank are some vermetid snails, but they have never bothered me and easy to control. The rock is nearly all pukani or similar. I have some good sized dry pieces as well and three pieces of heavy base rock of honeydew melon size. There are pretty large pieces available down to smaller pieces. I have no idea how many pounds, but most of it is fully seasoned in the tank. You can see one large stack of three rocks going from the bottom of the tank to within a few inches of the top. The other side has some rocks spread out at the base of a taller tower. The rock will be available once fish are gone.

All rock, dry and seasoned (minus the piece the  pink gorgonian is on) in the tank for $125

    Pending - Royal Gramma - $20.00  Approx. 2 1/2” in length

    Pending - Blue-Spot Jaw Fish - $65 Approx. 3” in length

Lawn Mower Blenny - $20 Approx. 2 1/2” and he is fat and happy

Christmas Wrasse - $40.00 Approx. 4” in length

Hippo Tang - Fat and healthy $80

    ---------------------

It has been some time since I have been active on the forum. As many of you are aware, sometimes life happens and we need to take a break from the hobby. I will be selling my entire system eventually, but first the creatures have to go. I have not been keeping up on current pricing, but did some searches to get an idea. If you believe I am out of the ballpark on something, let me know. If you have interest in something not listed, let me know and we can discuss pricing and timeline for when they will be available. Tank is a RedSea Reefer 350 with Trident and RedSea skimmer. I also have some equipment that is still new in the box but will post those items later. No shipping and will require pickup in Battle Ground, WA unless we agree to meet somewhere that works for both.

The first to go will be the corals followed by the fish, then the rock and then the system components. With that in mind, I will list out the items and rough sizes and descriptions. The attached photos have the letter of the items as well so you can get some idea of what they look like.

Sold A - is a good sized pink gorgonian. It is approximately 6 inches wide at the top and about 10 inches tall. It is attached on the frag rack so it would be out off for the buyer and it easily grows on what ever surface you place it on. $35

Sold B - is a large toadstool with bright green polyps. It is about 8 inches tall and wide. It is attached on the frag rack so it would be cut from the rack for the buyer. It will easily grow and what ever surface you attach it too. $20

Sold C - This is a large, very bright orange mushroom with bright yellow/green mouth. I have at least two for $10 each. The largest is approximately 3 inches across and the other is maybe 2.5 inches.

D - is some bright green mushrooms. I have at least two groups of six or seven and each group is $10

E - is a smaller toadstool with the same bright green polyps as the larger one. This on is about 4.5 inches tall and about 6 wide when opened. It is angry in the pick from me messing around in the tank. It is on a small rock. $15

F - There are two of these. They are the same type of toadstools but smaller and also angry in the pic. $5 each

Sold G - This is a purple colored gorgonian on a small rock. It is a good size standing about 10 inches tall and about  7 inches wide. $35

Sold H - This is another purple gorgonian that is about twice the size of the other one. It stands about 13 inches tall and 16 inches wide. It is on a baseball or possible softball sized rock with some florescent green sort of camo pattern mushroom. $50

I - This is another pink gorgonian growing on a baseball/softball sized rock. It is large, standing about 8 inches tall and about 16 inches wide. $50

Sold J - This is a brown polyp gorgonian with sort of pink arms. It is about 8 inches tall and 7 inches wide. It is attached on one of the large rocks so it will be cut off the rock for the buyer. It will easily attach to whatever you place it on. $25

Here's a long overdue tank update. I've been dosing ammonia to the tank instead of nitrate for a few months and I am getting improved growth! Just gave the tank a good cleaning in prep for an appearance on Reefbum next week (4/23/24)

Looks absolutely amazing 👏👏👏 curious to which ammonia product are you using?  How much dosage daily? Any weird results with live stock? I was using Dr tims ..if I remember correctly I kept losing my snails so I loaded that tank with hermits. But I was getting nice growth aswell 🤔🤔🤔

Talk about crazy differences.   I have three tanks, all connected as one system via common sump.

    1. 250g Main display tank - heavy flow, sps dominated
    2. 50g East frag tank - heavy flow, sps dominated + other stuff
    3. 50g West frag tank - setup as slow water movement tank, for things that want a gentler env

Today's discussion is about the West frag tank.  It's turned into a cesspool of red yuck.    The east and west frag tanks get the same inflow and outflow of water, from the sump, but have dramatically different recirculating within the tanks.  Reaching out to @Eatfrenchfries to see if our resident expert has any ideas why yuck would live here, and not in the other two tanks.

Is within tank water movement THIS much of a difference?

Deposit paid for when I get to my spot in the queue. Thanks!

Give the shop a call and see what they have available.  Deposit is received. So if they have the 2 available. Go for it. I'm sorry I don't know the status as updates have been difficult with the in and out process

Hello! Just recently returned to saltwater with a 60 gallon display tank and (my first!) sump. Been enamored by reef tanks for more than 30 years, but it's taken a while to get there!  Kept a few saltwater tanks as a kid with my father.  Fun to see the changes and excited to keep building.
