He wanted to be able to see it color up in person, but promised to let me know before selling. Maybe he had two similar pieces 🤞 I'll keep my fingers crossed

Please don't get mad at Jeff. Get mad at me lol. I twisted his arm to get it lol. I thought it should belong with my collection of scolys hehe.

  2. My plan has changed. As I don't want to upgrade again after this for a while. I am gonna get a waterbox LX instead. I am considering selling my brand new 150g sca 60x24x24 tank and custom stand 75x32x38 with a separate sump and dry equipment section. Asking $1700 for it.

No such thing, am I right?!

I have this same unit. It's a beast! Those are 2" pvc connections coming off the end. I reduced mine to 1¼", but yeah, it's the real deal.

I saw the one at cuttlefish today. Too big for it to fit my cab. Got a 40w aqua uv and that barely fits.

I built my mixing station and auto water change setup based on @SuncrestReefdesign last spring.  This is the best thing I've done in Years!   Three things have me hooked.

    1. By far the most valuable and important, the output valves fit a 5 gallon bucket under them.  Gravity filling a bucket is like 15 seconds of zero effort.

    2. Auto Water Changes mean I actually get water changes done.   I find almost zero value in diverting my time to water changes... And my prior tank conditions showed it.  I use Apex DOS for AWC.  One head pulls old tank water and dumps it 75' away down the sink drain.  One head pulls new fresh salt water out of mixing station from 15 feet away.

    3. Auto Stop for my RO unit.   I ran for years on the "RO into a tub", manual on/off, and just timed it for when to turn off.  Of course... more than one overflow happened.

My setup is now all automated.  With one exception, I don't auto-start a refill of the RO tank.   I wait until the tank is down a ways, and then manually Re-enable RO making.  Its just a personal choice.  Don't want RO unit pressurized and running every day.

    Start here:

Appreciate it! My next project will be the water management system.

  5. Oh man getting closer to having this thing set up. Only thing left is to drop off the clarisea to Jason Gregory at clear fabrication to have him start on the sump. Meow Meow Custom Aquarium Products did a nice job with the stand. Side panels are removable and held in place with magnets to.I have access all around the tank. Good space for all the gear and dry goods. Top of tank is eight at my eye level so perfect for viewing but I definitely will need a ladder to work in the tank.

  6. I went a little over board with my gear purchases. I have a unused brand new GHL mega set with v1 5.1 PAB power bar.

    Extra 5.1 PAB power bar

    3 head slave 2.1 doser.

All unused and new still in wrappers.

Asking $1000 or trade. Lmk if interested in buying or what you have for trade.

We’ll sort of. You’ll see those racks have lip around all four sides. I’m looking for racking where the cross section is a “c” so I can butt reveal pieces of rack together. I suppose these couple float on top of the channel, but I’d sacrifice an inch of vertical or so. What I want, are the racks that Costco sells these racks on! 😂

The black racking behind my tank build is from Costco. Definitely heavy duty
