I have my system set up for auto water changes from my mixing station in my garage, about 30 feet from my display tank in my living room. I ran 1/4" tubing and a long AquaBus cable through the wall between my tank and my mixing station, and have the Apex controlling a DOS in my garage to do daily water changes. Let me know if you want specific details on this setup.
Sweet! Yes I will have to pick your brain once I get to that part. I still need to build my mixing station as well. Appreciate your help!

Lmfao... both industry plays off names and appearances. It's almost the actual strain is forgotten. Especially in the Marijuana industry people get all hyped up over a name and want it even though they have nothing to really identify or compare it to whether they are really buying said strain. You can litterly sell the same strain that had a weak name that wasn't selling and then rename it to something mouth watering like say Strawberry banana and people eat it up like it is the newest hottest thing out lol. I see this all the time in the field.

Almost got all my gear to set this system up. Just gotta get the clarisea 5000 over to Jason at Clear Fabrication to perfectly fit it in my custom 34x28x16 sump he is building for me. Should be a nice tricked system when done. I gotta figure out how to set up a auto water change remotely. Any ideas on that what greatly be appreciated. Thanks

Been at a stall with this build. So I figured let's get some aquascape done. I made the outline of the tank and then outlined the perimeter where I want the rock work to stay within. I was able to grab some nice unicorn Tonga branches. I have been waiting forever to find tonga branches and luckily a local had 35 pounds of some nice pieces. I will be using most of them as the foundation. With the unique shapes of the branches it allows for great water flow through the bottom of your aquarium to minimize areas that can trap detritus as it sit on small multi points with open space and also good hiding spots for your fish. I think I have 3 good starting base now and will work my way up and around with archs, ledges and semi caves.

Debating on to either get a trigger platinum or just get a clarisea and retro fit into a glass 40b or 75g sump for my 150g

Nice! In time for my bday!

Regular water change schedule is a huge help and no sand in the DT is a major help. Although I like the look of a sandy bottom. I hate all the nasty stuff it harbors more. You can keep it KISS and be successful or have all the gear you can get and still fail. At the end it is your maintenance routine that will determine your success. Just like most things in life I guess.

Sca tanks are on the low low rn. 150g 60x24x24 for $1000 bucks!

Aren't yellow tangs mostly captive breed/raised now with Biota? Doubt they will get that expensive.

This system is coming along nicely. It will probably be spring or early summer before I set up the 150g so I figured let's get some stock. Went to Sea Kings in Bellevue for the 1st time. I will have to say it was a pleasant experience. Scored a dope master scoly a nice indo elegance and the brightest orange branching hammer I've seen. Hard to capture the bright orange like how you would see in person. Under radion xr15 ab+

Sweet! I bought their 150g with external overflow back in July! Beautiful tanks, and great price. I’m really glad I went eurobrace. I actually just put a jack post under mine this afternoon! My floor joists are 4x8 on 48” centers, and it was a cheap covid project to occupy part of my long weekend. What are you doing for a stand?
Can you share pics how you supported yoir floor?

Nice! I need to support my floor as well for sure as it sits parallel to the joist.

After discussing with my wife about the space for a bigger tank in the house. Without sacrificing our dining window. I wouldn't be able to fit what I originally planned. So alternatively since I do have about a 7' wall space between my dining room and kitchen. SCA had a nice sale on their 150g 60x24x24. So here it is. Now I can have my gem tang and not feel bad lol.

I guess you don’t know that my super hero power is that I can kill wall hammers just by looking at them...true story
Been in there couple times recently. Orange looks more pink to me in person

Maybe you're already doing something else, but you're going to run into issues when you try and get 8 cords through those little grommets. The 8 cords themselves will fit, but you'll have a hard time putting all the plugs through. I just hooked my board up and made a similar mistake. So I just cut in an additional hole. I also cut the cap part to allow more cords and still close off any remaining space. Looks good, though!
Yup I thought of that. I put 1 hole on top and one on bottom for 4 cords each hole. I appreciate your thoughts though. Thank you
Yeah that upgrade came quick. 150g
