Right on! Thanks Cherany!
I'll re-post my share the love events sometime this week.
-
That's amazing stuff, Jeff.
Can I just have some coral? Driving up north is soooo hard.
You just need to open another store farther south.

Is your overflow producing a lot of micro-bubbles?

Hey Miles - I would be in to trying this out if the offer still stands. Plan to be at the meeting and my current mix is running out so perfect time to try something new!
Sounds good. So far, I have you and Dan_lu down for ~16 oz.

Also, the acetic acid concentration is 10% of common acetic acid, so it's quite minimal.
-
I recently made my own amino acid solution. It consists of only the top five amino acids that corals take from the water column and a buffer of acetic acid to prevent growth of microbes and increase shelf life.
It's nothing fancy, but if anyone is willing to try some, I'd be happy to bring you a solution. I've been using it for two weeks with a dosage of 5mL per 100 gallons per day.

Thanks Miles but don't worry about it right now. Still trying to get things grown out to the point of being fraggable (if that is a word). Maybe I can hit you up when I actually have something I can trade. (Fingers crossed). I do have a really nice piece of Tierra del Fuego - I'm sure Brian wouldn't mind if I traded it away while I'm babysitting it (just checking to see if he's paying attention) ?
I already fragged it. Don't worry.

I cut a bigger frag. I kind of felt guilty giving you that small one.

Hey Miles - looks like your new frag setup is performing well! What is at the front left in that third pic?
I don't have a name for it, but it tricolor rings bell. Bert would probably better be able to ID it.
I'll make a frag of it tonight if you want it. You can bring anything you feel is worth the trade. No worries.

Ok. I'll bring it. It's a tad small (the one on the front), but it is the same. I wouldn't expect anything in return because of the size, but a chunk of a small piece of the 3,4 or 5 would be cool. It's really your choice. I'm not picky. I'll even throw in my recent amino acid recipe for you to try. Been using it for ~two weeks now.

You sure got some living rock. Practically, a golem at that point.
Pretty cheap too. Did you have to pay for shipping?

Your alkalinity swung and the calcium in the water is dropping out of the water column.
just change the water with water that's been mixing and heated for a few hours.
Nailed it.

What an excellent setup.
I really like the LED strips. The macro algae must love it.
