  1. Sorry about your troubles,I don't like dealing with electricity.Be careful and be sure to have company around when you mess with things.I would unplug everything and check the lights first for water contact. Hate to say it but it could be anything so look careful for signs wear and tear.I believe that there is a device you can buy a hard ware store that will check for incomplete circuits.Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in.
  2. I have had good results with the product Purigen. The product is for ammonia and Nitrates specifically. In my experience it does not strip your tank too fast for nutrients.Really easy to use as well.
  3. Well I am down to 2 Star Lords now.And I think someone is using the Lunar Eclipse name already. We still need a name for those palys! http://www.bluezooaquatics.com/productdetailcc.asp?did=11&cid=370&pid=23528
  4. Thank you Emerald, this is helpful.Lighting was a key factor here.I left the set too close to the LED's.As you can see the centers are quite muddled up and lack the distinct rings of the original variety. I can assure you that these are in fact Mind Blowing palys.I fragged them myself, same mother colony. They eat like palys too. Thanks Badx.I am thinking it's time to frag these up,move them around and see what happens.
  5. Are there ways to encourage zoas and palys to morph? How would you know if you had a true morph? I am thinking one must frag the colony and move the pieces to a different system. Then you would have to wait for new polyps to grow out. Below I have included a picture of some Mind Blowing Palys, they have been this way for over a year. The second picture is also Mind Blowing palys from the same tank.

  13. Thanks,I would trade a well established purple rimmed frag for a green acro.Is there maybe something else you may trade for the Teco frag,it's a slow growing coral for me.I would love to nurse that brain back to health. What would you consider trading for it?
