  1. Sorry again this has to come this way, I tried to offer to solve the issue. All went wrong since the get go when Daniel reported coral dead or dying and arrived at 62 degree temp. When I mentioned about this to him on the pm he said he added his tank water that is why temp went up. It certainly didn't show any of this on 3 threads he started. Not sure what is his intention with all these repeated posts. The at the later part of conversation on pm Daniel question how can he trust me, I can say shipment no good to just not refund him. I replied the same that I can ask him how can I trust that picture is torch from my shipment, I can be doubtful also. Since he likes to incite the mass to solve his problem, I dont have anything to hide about what is going on. The following is complete copy of my pm with him
  2. Yes, for a full refund and send back at my cost the product has to arrive alive for a full refund. See if you can find any seller in USA that will send you shipping label to return the coral. Regarding a visit to my shop, this is what I wrote to you on the pm: "I have a shop but not for public retail. I set up only for online business and I don't have store front business insurance If you order online you can pick up on Saturday 10am -11:30am then you can come in to shop Right now due to covid19 we are not allowing visitor I get you the picture tomorrow. Picture on the forum is under blue radion"
  3. Sorry you didn't received the torch as advertised in person. No issue with me to give you full refund soon I receive it back Thanks.

  5. Just follow the acclimation sheet in the package. Let it settle down for a few days and let me know the progress.
  6. Another option is to turn off skimmer for a couple days to see if the NO3 and PO4 level at your favorable level O2 level may drop if you don't have enough surface agitation when turning off skimmer, this could result in lower ph
  7. Just like playing russian roulette, win some loose some. I have bad contamination once when using it and that one time bad experience enough for me not to use it anymore
  8. Increasing NO3 and PO4 is very easy you don't need calculator because each system is unique. The way I am doing it is test the NO# / PO4 level than add 1/16-1/8 of a teaspoon into the sump, wait for 4-6 hrs then test the level. You will find out how much increase and you can gauge how much do you need to get a desire level. Once you reach the level you want, keep testing once a day till the level drop then you know how much to add and every how many days. When coral start growing and more coral added it will consume more that is why once a week test should be done
  9. The skimmer and other mechanical filter now days are better / very efficient in transport out nutrients and trace elements this situation makes the system depleted of the resources. Watching out minor and trace elements by doing icp test at interval will help us gauge our system We are too focus on major elements sometimes we forget that minor and trace are equally important even when you do water change
  10. This product has impurity mix in, even Randy Holmes not recommend using it. Food grade is the best to use
  11. For those that dose to increase nitrate regularly, I would suggest using Potassium Nitrate KNO3 and Sodium Nitrate NaNO3 alternatively or mix 50/50 in a container to use till all gone then mix more. This is to prevent build up of Potassium especially if no water change system. Level above 460ppm would cause rtn on acropora Potassium Nitrate is the best to increase nitrate level quick, sodium nitrate not as much ime of using booth As for PO4 I am using Trisodium Phosphate Na3PO4
  12. Need to scrap good the area soonest you see algae growing because it will not stop. If the area keep clean and flow is good the coral tissue will healed and continue to grow to cover the bare spot Unfortunately it is natural occurrence for big colony to get detritus settle down and algae start growing Seems you have enough big frags to start growing again, glue a few within 1" and the base will fuse together
  13. The algae growth that killing it slowly. Taking over the spot and spreading.
  14. Will let you know if I have more
