So I realized that the club originally budgeted for 3 $25 gift certificates to a LFS of one's choice for our raffles. However, somewhere along the lines, those prizes fell off the radar. So we've decided to do a second chance raffle drawing! I combined all the tickets from yesterday's raffle into one big bag and pulled three tickets out. The winners... RAFFLE DRAWING UPDATE!!! Per my original post, the drawing was supposed to be tonight at 8PM. However, I ran into a technical snag with YouTube. Apparently once you verify your account for live streaming, you have to wait 24 hours before it becomes active. Therefore, I have to wait until tomorrow to do the stream. I theoretically could just upload a recorded video, but I wanted this to be a real time stream for everyone. So tomorrow at 8PM it is!! I look forward to some of you winning awesome stuff! Since we aren't drawing until tomorrow evening, people can still buy more tickets if they would like. Sorry for the delay everyone! -Andrew

If you went with a cover you'd only use a screen, not a full glass enclosure. It's there to prevent things from jumping out. You don't want glass enclosures because they block light as water condensates and it gathers hard water marks. People also claim there's an issue with gas exchange, but I don't necessarily buy that part because because sumps and protein skimmers introduce a great deal of gas exchange.
