Had this Leptastrea for a while its really starting to color up lately though

I finally built a screen to fit the tank. Its just a standard diy window frame kit with some 1/4" pond netting and I cut some strips of lexan that I had laying around and screwed them to the sides and front so the screen frame sits flush inside the euro brace

I am not sure about advantages with different types of macros, I just really like macro algae and the many varieties of it. My tang and urchins also really seem to enjoy the change in diet when I throw a chunk of them in the display too.

I had same thing on my 40B researched it and pretty common some have failures most are just fine for years though. I think you would have better luck playing the lottery than getting marineland to cover a tank under Warranty. The silicone job I have seen on mass produced tanks is sloppy at best IMO

Got light transferred over tonight will finish plumbing and electrical tomorrow hopefully. I will try to get a sump pic up but its pretty simple skimmer/return/fuge. I will be plumbing the 15g into the system too, hopefully combining them into one system will make maintenance a little less time consuming as well.
