I felt like I did when my dog got hit by a car . I got called at work and it ruined my whole day cos kept telling me he would get me a new one .. But it didn't help at the moment . As long as I have been into saltwater or have had my own setup .I have always wanted that fish . And of course it couldn't have been the blue damsel !!

Lol . Ya I recently made the mistake of trying to wash socks with filter socks not a good idea . Soon it will be three again though after the nano is set up the triggers are getting a 180 so the two downstairs will go together . And the 40b and the nano upstairs . Moving in January is going to be fun stuff !!

Ya true . I'm excited because my girl loves all the stuff that I'm not really into anymore so . It's all going in this . After that ill finally get to redo my rock work when I vacate my nems . This will be fourth tank we have going and I wanted it to be easy to maintain . So adding a 20 gallon sump will help I hope . Ill just have a sock laundry day .

Well I happened to find a cracked 24 gallon cube pulled the rim and replaced it . The chip was to funny looking to bevel . So this build moves forward ..

As long as there mouths aren't hanging inside out I wouldn't worry too much nems are strange little critters .. With mine I noticed I was feeding them too much I have one black and white that hosts two bubble tips . While feeding they were deflating and not looking healthy . This is jmo ! If your water is fine then I would back off feeding . Maybe one time a week if you don't have a host . Bubble tips are again IMO the easiest to keep . They will move if there is too much flow or not enough light . You can't make a nem stay where you want . Also before dosing iodine you should make sure you need to . I dose nothing besides buffer and mag . What's in your water should be enough . Again jmo !

Good price but I'm not looking for a aio . I had already drilled the nano and everything. I should have popped the rim off before I drilled the tank. Lesson learned . I don't think you can drill solanas and I want something with a sump . Thanks though !!

So my attempt at making the jbj rimless was a bust well I guess it was a manufacturing flaw and is major bummer because the rim came off as planned what I didn't take into account was there could be a chip somewhere and right in the very front there is . I guess I could take it to a glass shop and have them bevel the edge . But I think I'd rather scrap it and get a new cube . I just hope I find one before my girlfriend finds out I butchered her tank !!!

Brand new razor blades elbow grease . I use a little lighter fluid when its just the residue . More elbow grease . I tried a scotch brite pad on my 40 and it scuffed the glass sounds lame but it did . So I'd just use an old rag lighter fluid or goo gone .
