  1. Lol @ garret um haha .. There just worms calm down . Like I said they have only ate one sick fish . That's part of nature right ? Lmao !! When ever your ready let me know ... Ill be getting some things to keep them under control but ill save u a bunch
  2. All I have to do is toss a few pellets and they come out like crazy every time I feed I swoop as many out as I can I can get you a handful of both .. I usually just flick them down the toilet lol
  3. Dude I have all the worms u want !!!!
  4. So what do you use for a clean up crew if hermits shrimp and crabs are out .
  5. I used to but the ocean is diverse so I figure why shouldn't my tank be plus the only thing that bugs me is the worms but in all honesty they eat every little speck of food the the fish or coral doesn't get one thing I can say is I have never had a phosphate issue from over feeding lol I have my reef keepers stand by set to 30 mins just so that when it kicks back on there's nothing flowing down the drain to rot But they creep me out so I'd like to get a handle on it before its a worm farm . I guess I always looked at it like why kill the good stuff that's the only hitch hiker I have had so far so maybe I'm lucky
  6. Lol !! Ya Sally's are creepy it's the way they move I think . And the shrimp ya they highly frustrate me so what I do know is give them each there own krill while I target the coral seems to take the same time for the all to eat and everybody's happy ..
  7. Hmmm . So I have asked around and I should probably know the anwser but ... Will a six line or a coris pick on my cleaner wrasse I'm oddly attached to my new one and don't want to have him go carpet surfing because he is getting bit in the butt fin ..
  8. Lol I had one for like three years and he did the same thing sadly the other day my wrasse ranked it out of his shell and had hermit meat for dinner
  9. Hermits have never been a issue with me well at least so far had quite a few even the larger electric blue hermits the Sally light foots emeralds are a different story I watched it snip polyps of my favorite little zoas and they were gone I even did all the reading got a small one and all that but ya never trust a crab that's for sure . I guess all the scavengers need to be watched I had a peppermint shrimp do the same thing . Now I make sure the shrimps I have are fat and I have never had another issue with them .
  10. Yup ... I'm starting a war with them though so I think I will have a yellow coris and a arrow crab ordered for me I have tried the traps that's a bunch of crap I even switched tanks .. And that's a whole new sand bed but they hitch hiked the rocks all I know is if you see one you have more creepin around in there .. I even tried manually pulling them out cut down feeding what's odd is I have three tanks going and the one in my room the 40b is the only one with the problem downstairs is a nano with two elderly ocellaris clowns and a strawberry psuedocromis which I hear eats them but have never seen it . The other tank has the triggers and a tomato clown and a bi color Blenny that I caught eating my wellso so I banished him .. But I can't find any in those tanks .. Weird aye . And at one point or another the rocks were all in the same place . Has me baffled!
  11. If you can get over how ugly and creepy they are then there IMO the best scavengers there is and a great benifit to a reef . On the other hand I'm glad I'm not allergic to them or I'd be screwed . And I have seen them pull a sick Jawfish under the rock like a creepy horror movie ... If u can keep the numbers low there cool ..
  12. Ya a pyscho six line with a hunger for worms ...
  13. Maybe he will fit right in ?! I'm going to get one soon I think if he doesn't work out in mine ill put him with the triggers
  14. I wish ! I have having to banish stuff I just get
  15. For some reason I always pick out the evil ones same with emerald crabs .. Maybe it's just my luck idk .
  16. Ya that's what I'm reading but I also hear from other people that their 100% reef safe lol then i hear too keep an eye on em starting noticing polyps missing and last night had to pry him off one .. Good thing I have other tanks seems like I'm banishing one every other week ... I heard that they eat worms is why I got a few never seen that .
  17. Lol @ garret did u like my worm farm lmao I really hate them I mean I few are ok but it's getting creepy I mean I saw one stick its head out and let loose what looked like a bunch of eggs I was considering a arrow crab but heard they get frisky trying to catch fish idk .. I was considering another wrasse but concerned that I already have a cleaner wrasse and their sissys so I didn't want him to get picked on .. The real reason for the post was I have a bet with somebody that they do this person said they'd give me 1000 if I could prove it . Lol .
  18. I have never really tried growing them out How long does it take slow like a favia ?
  19. Ya me too and in a short while you will have something that would have cost way more .. And I like the green and purple acans those are sweet as well ..
  20. I glued the little plate .lol .. I have one that's almost full and I have only had it for two months ..
  21. I was wondering if anyone here has physically seen a six line wrasse eat bristle worms . Hopefully I can get some first hand accounts to prove my point .. I doubted it .
  22. So I have been doing a lot of reading about bumble bee snails . The one I have in my tank seemed to develop a taste for zoas . What's your experience with these guys .
