  1. no not sure! I was bored and went on craiglist and saw the awesome deal. Asked if he had coral he wanted to get rid of and we started talking. Then I asked "really crazy chance but are you into quadcopters? I have this for a trade" boom 40 min drive to Yreka tank and gear on gear on gear in my truck!
  2. Here is an update!!! FTS: 4/24/2016 So this a Lee Mar 50 Gallon Starphire Glass Aquarium with 2 Returns and a Durso Standpipe Overflow Equipment: Up Top: MP10 Jebao RW-4 AquaticLife T5 Retro Fit with 2x (SOON TO BE 4x) V3 Arrays Blue Fish Controlled (soon to have new coral + and purple +) Below: Reef Angel Plus Controller (main uses ATO and Temp control) 20 Gallon Sump SCA 303 Skimmer Aquatop 250 Watt Heater LED Bulb for Refugium Aqua PR20/20 Reactor for Carbon (Rox 0.8) Quiet One Return Pump Live Stock: Pair of Premium Snowflake Clowns Midas Blenny (I do not have a lid for this setup and a little nervous...) Pygmy Angel Yellow Tang (Bring it...) Cleaner Shrimp CUC (includes 2 Conchs) Okay so everything is up and running! I am keeping the Tang, we homies now. Things to do still is get a larger ATO reservoir for the left side of the stand. Something black and tall and completely rectangular so it looks sharp. Another thing happening this week is maintenance on the Hybrid Light. I am getting 2 more V3 Arrays to add to this beauty! Going to have to CAREFULLY nudge the original two off so I can distribute all 4 of them evenly. Also going to replace and add more fans because current fans are a wee bit noisey. Should I add a moonlight channel? Just using 2 royal blue cree Xt-e LEDs at like 1%? beneficial or just cool? stay tuned!
  3. SO. I traded a quadcopter I built for this https://medford.crai...5553008842.html AMAZING DEAL I KNOW!!!!!! So this a Lee Mar 50 Gallon Starphire Glass Aquarium with 2 Returns and a a Durso Standpipe Overflow Equipment: Up Top: MP10 Not sure if to use Tunze 6020 or Jabeo Rw-4 Aquatic Life T5 Retro Fit with 2x V3 Arrays Blue Fish Controlled Below: Reef Angel Plus Controller (main uses ATO and Temp control) 20 Gallon Sump SCA 303 Skimmer Aquatop 300watt Heater LED Bulb for Refugium Aqua PR20/20 reactor for Carbon Not sure what the Return pump is... Live Stock: Pair of Premium Snowflake Clowns Midas Blenny (I do not have a lid for this setup and a little nervous...) Pygmy Angel Cleaner Shrimp CUC (includes 2 Conchs) Future Live Stock: 1 Kole Yellow Tang or Pair of Fire Fish or Dope [language filter] wrasse (probably a flasher) or ????? open to suggestions I want something either super active or pretty and red like the firefish for example Super excited I got this out of the deal!!! Currently I have a trash can full of LR circulating with a heater along with just the sump hahah Just looking at the sump anything you guys would do? I plan to add a bit more rock to the refugium and add some filter pads between one of the baffles before the return. Also should I get a plant bulb? Like the LED Pink ones? I plan to run opposite light cycles. I will also be adding a reactor with carbon. where should the reactor be? Before skimmer after? I AM NEW TO SUMPS!!!!! I have tons and tons of rock now also so I am definitely going to make this an amazing scape. Tomorrow I have to head to hardware store to pickup some pvc pipe due to cutting some to transfer tank. Existing sand is in water and not disturbed much all live rock is established and I really am not worried about a cycle. Everything will be transferred over tomorrow and setup. CAN'T WAIT IT IS LIKE CHRISTMAS EVE FOR ME! Open to suggestions and comments please!
  4. bump. I will also build you a LED or T5/LED light if interested. PM me for details
  5. I have a tunze 6020 and I love it. I have only heard good things about the 6040. Personally as much as I do love the clean look and flow or a mp10. For the price the RW-4 is such a good little pump
  6. if you ever go on Nano Reef forum there is one on every other week or so
  7. Thanks dude! Still gotta figure out the White balance on my Nikon and I didn't feel like opening up photoshop haha. I am gonna need some corals and nems soon man
  8. Can't wait for ya to come down south again to drop off some goodies!
  9. why didn't you hit me up for a 20g long?! haha
  10. does it have the stand for it?
  11. So the OR T247 internal controller input to the drivers uses 0-10v analog signal. Unless you are good with Arduino and DIY (https://www.arduino.cc/) The best way to control this would be to purchase a Coralux Storm Controller (http://www.rapidled.com/coralux-storm-led-controller-with-10v-analog-converter/). You have to purchase it with the 10v analog converter however because the Storm uses 5v PWM to dim. Another option is the BlueFish (controller https://aquarium-led-controller.com/product/bluefish-led-controller/). Not cheap but seriously super cool. Only other things I can think of is a Apex or Reef Angel which obviously isn't cheap but hey they are pretty cool too. I currently have a Reef Angel and a BlueFish Mini I love my control!
  12. Got everything all cleaned up and done! I think I have a pretty nice living room My premium snowflakes are my favorite
  13. The v3s have a pretty good color mix and run more white than blue so I figured the t5s should have more blue.sounds like blue + and purple + might be the best option
  14. haha broke college life with expensive hobbies!
  15. Have not had a reply from original person who this was pending to so this is still available....
  16. they only require different voltage, amperage etc. if they connected to a power box of some kind. if they are just simply Neg, pos, and ground then that is all they are, copper wire.
