  1. I will send a pic. Got these buggers from Garrett and since my move and no fish I developed freaken carnivorous pods. Didn't believe it till I researched and decided to build a rack. They since have taken off on the frag rack. Separated the bottom ones from eggcrate and glued to shell. Now I have like 18 polyps from I swear 10-12 when I bought it like two weeks ago. 2. Ya I've killed a few and I notice lemon juice kinda floats with pumps off. I was mainly wondering I guess about indirect flow or secondary exposer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. Ya J, I know[emoji85][emoji86][emoji87]. I am an Oregonian thru an thru. You know the one that cuts up his six pack plastic doohickey. We are all guilty of supporting petco as we are of supporting Walmart. What to do? It is the million dollar question.. Now of course I read too much into everything and your sad face I could be way off on. But I don't think I am and I am reading it as, it is a sad state most petco's aquariums look like and not to support them. We cannot stop someone from Portland or Atlanta from buying a clown fish cause they are cool! I call it save a fish day cause at least I care. When I buy a fish, rat, snail. They get names and are apart of the family. It's the pit bull fight, do you ban the breed or the owner?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The bracket doesn't work as I have lids on my tank and my OCD doesn't like the look of the glass rising above the lip of tank. Looked tacky Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Home-made frag rack!!

I agree however, I have tried a few different things and these suction cup are super strong. U push them in an then lock them down for a super suction. I had a hell of a time just trying to adjust them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. Nice! how hard are the favia's etc. to care for? I do not dose and only add trace elements and nice reef salt. One of the many reasons why i like lps and softies, i seem to have good luck with LPS like hammer's etc. When i thought i was going to break down my tank i sold a hammer that was like 8 heads and one black and white clown and one orange for 60 bucks lol. he got a steal:( and of course i dont break my tank down and now here i am, lol.
  16. Just like the title says:) how the heck do I upload pics with my iPhone??
  17. Not a problem brother! Just a short trip down 99. Pm me or post some pics of what u got:)
  18. Hey guys and gals, my wife and I finally bought our house in independence and had some good news and bad news on our move???? In anticipation for the big move I traded and sold some stuff and am now stable and ready to add some permanent corals:) I just bought some coral from Garrett, but decided to shout out to all of you that are close to Salem/independence, that might have some $5-10 frags. I'm a LPS or softy/mushroom guy. We are looking for mainly orange or red variety to Brighten up our tank. I have a ton of green fuZy mushrooms too if u want to snag a few:) they are every where lol.
  19. I HAVE AN INFESTATION!! tons of those buggers although I do like having some as they are good cleaners, but dang I must have a 1000
  20. Thanks guys! Ya, Badxgillen I will be moving back to independence. But I am in the process of buying a house, so It will be awhile:( but I like having people close to trade with and Corvallis is a short drive down ol'99. I have a horrible time gluing my stuff down as apparently I have OCD and like to change rocks and crap haha! The rico was an impulse buy from Garrett along with some xenia to satisfy my NEED... Beginning of 2013 I was going to break down my tank when I moved into an apartment after my ex and I split, cause I knew it wasn't permanent and it sucks breaking down and moving these type of tanks. So I am depleted as far as coral right now, "couple people off of craiglist got some hell of good deals out of me last yr" when I thought I was going to break it down. I do however, have about 200 ugly brown or green polyps on two big rocks:) and I do have a nice bubble coral and about 50 freaking green/fuzzy or something mushrooms that keep splitting and are all over the place, seriously the polpys and mushrooms you can pick off the sand there is so many of them. I dont think anyone would want them though:( When I do move and start to restock my tank I will start experimenting with fragging. Never done it before and I need to learn:)
  21. Well crap! today my fan decides to go out on my finnex t5 lighting fixture, after i have already replaced power cord for led lights on this dang fixture. Do not buy Finnex lights as they suck! i have only had this one for three years and keep having to replace crap. I am going to be buying a new fixture within days and am going full LED. But this post isnt about buying lights haha! i also realized that either a fish or a snail knocked off my dang nice rico mushroom off its rock and is toast "only one i had:(". I am moving soon and when i do, i would like to stock my tank with some nice rico and acans zoa frags for a decent price. I am mainly looking for some oranges and reds to brighten my tank from purple and green. Hit me up if you have some frags of anything and of course i will look at classifieds. I dont need anything for a few months until i move, so this post is open....
  22. Im confused(scratch) are you selling something?

    75 gal build NOOB

he went downhill quick, they were both kinda skinny when i bought them. But, after a few days they both started to eat, i thought heck i will fatten them up... Week later..... The poor guy went from lively, to swimming on the bottom and not eating, to within 48hrs he was dead. He only started to show signs of disease when i noticed that he wasnt using his right pectoral fin. Ok? maybe he hurt himself ( i did put them in my main tank as i dont have any other fish to worry about contamination). BIG MISTAKE MIGHT HAVE CONTAMINATED MY TANK NOW... Anyways, i then started to see spots but not normal ick spots more cotton looking. I told my wife im going to look it up when im at work, as soon as i got home which is 8am in the morning i told her we need to medicate both fish, probably Brooklynella. Had to wait for Petco to open at 9am to get everything i needing for a hospital tank. Funny, considering i have a 20 gal. and a 45 gal. aquarium sitting in the garage but couldn't find anything else. So, after searching the attic and finding everything but a HOB filter for the tank i sent the wife to petco. She bought a 10 gal. which is what i wanted and a HOB filter without carbon embedded into the filter(not easy to find anymore). I have everything i need(clap) within a hr i have the Hospital tank looking good, all parameters looked good, went to get the little bugger and he was dead. I have had hardcore hard to keep cichlids for along time and never seen a fish die so quickly...
