I would soak it in half vinegar half water for a week or two. I'm sure the acidity would take any living matter off... Or even straight vinegar. At 2.59 a gallon it might get expensive though. Maybe straight vinegar a few rocks at a time?

So, got a 29 oceanic cube. Some white film, soaked with white vinegar for 2 hours. No results. Last resort?

If torture is what you're looking for... A pot of boiling water and a pot of ice water.. Place in cold for ten seconds, place in hot for ten seconds. Repeat steps one and two until your craving for torture is gone. Acid around the entire body is a pretty quick death.

To not use so much super glue, I would recommend Boston aqua farms reef glue accelerator. It works with most cyanoacrylates which includes ecotechs glue. The three pack for a dollar sound like a great deal.

How old is the bulb? If its not that old I would request a new one from where you got it. Its very rate but a mh will blow up randomly. Doesn't matter it water got on it unless its a double ended. I've seen them with lots odd water and fine
