If they eat bugs, try buying some bugs for your tank. Reefs2Go is always advertising them, and you can have your LFS order bottles of pods for your tank, too.

Thanks for the review. I'd been thinking of getting some of these (or asking for them as a B-Day or Xmas present!). You might consider going to Hannah's main website and sending them your feedback - you can't be the only person who is experiencing these issues with those packets and reagents. They may be open to your suggestions (or at least your difficulties) and maybe find a way to improve their process. -Mike

You're just moving the sump? Honestly, UPS Ground would be cheaper than any gas money involved in such a transfer and you'd have it in 1-2 days. Fully insured against any damage, to boot!

Why not just plumb the return pump directly to the Locline instead of a powerhead? I would think your return pump would have greater flow than the powerhead would and why put a bottleneck in the return line?

If he did, he's taking a loss after factoring in the shipping cost. It looks like a good deal, if you're in the market for something like this.

Call Pioneer Plastics in Albany at (541) 791-9231. They should be able to hook you up for almost no charge (relatively speaking), and can cut anything you want to size. I had them build my 200gal tank and they did a spectacular job! -Mike

The US version is launching at midnight PDT (our time) for all of the USA. You can install the game right now if you have a digital copy, though.

You can start the install and patch right now if you got the digital download version. Won't be able to actually log in and PLAY until midnight.

Kind of surprised they wouldn't put a sign up at the old place at least mentioning the move.

I don't need any rock right now, but as a customer and small business owner, I'd like to offer some constructive advice and say you might consider getting a better picture of your rock in a nice cleaned tank to better sell what you've got. Even though I'm not in the market for rock, I was still turned off by the picture and I'm sure it doesn't represent accurately what you've got. Good luck on the sale and I hope this helps. -Mike

Oops -- i misread what you wrote This does illustrate what I mentioned above about a gate valve vs ball valve: the ball valve gives very little precision control whereas a gate valve gives a significant difference in flow control. I'm using a gate valve and even 1 turn either way will throw off my balance. On a ball valve that would equate to about a 1mm adjustment that you probably would never hit on purpose. If you can get one and still plumb it in, I would highly recommend a gate valve. Got mine from BRS but a local shop might have them.
