So my new rw15s came today....ermahgerd!
Idk how you guys are running these so high, mine are on 2 and my gsp looks like a hurricane is hitting it...
My tank is 7ft long and I have one at each end mostly pointing upward or the flow gets too intense. If I run any of the modes I get little water vortex tornados in the middle where the flow meets...
So needless to say I wouldn't recommend the RW20

Keep a lid over them, they are both jumpers!

Arminius does nice work for a great price, haven't seen him on here lately though :(

I remember my wp40s being on the loud side when I first got them and quieting down quite a bit after breaking in. Hope the rw is better...I just ordered 2 that will be here tomorrow ????

Great pic! I envy that bleach white sand

76ish because I don't use heaters :P

Bayer. Mixed results on nudis tho. make sure to use a turkey baster or something to stir the water while dip in process. I dip mine for 5 minutes, no longer.
I've always done it at least 10 mins, won't hurt anything and takes care of all the pests. Here's some info on it:

I usually use 5ish ml in a half full red solo cup.

PMd, you still have these?

Bayer pesticide is the best, Google it, most people prefer it over coral dips

Just my 2 cents but EVERYONE does SPS tanks lol! It would be awesome to see a tank full of torches, hammers, duncans, etc LPS. Sounds like a ton of water movement but at least you can do wave pulses and get a cool effect with the LPS.

Looks great Jeremy! How has the trigger been? Any coral snacks or well behaved? I would love a trigger again, it's been too long lol

Wow, candy cane/dendro style fiesta! Cool colors, wish we had those reds and oranges!

If you just want light over the tank order a 10w LED flood light off eBay for $15. You can get them in 20k I believe or just cool white. Should do the job just fine for super low cost.

Updating my pic from a better camera..
PIC HERE
You tease! No linky :(

More flow and it won't settle as much so your filtration can take care of it. Otherwise siphoning is the only way.

Yeah everyone's skimmer goes bonkers after treatment. It's easier to deal with if you have a DC skimmer (to adjust speed up slowly) but you really just need to let it foam and get the stuff out. Run some fresh carbon and skim with your outlet wide open. Refill with saltwater If your skimming like crazy. I find that it cuts it out after about 30 min to an hour of very wet skimming.

Looks good, any fish in there yet?

Sign up for a free photobucket account, upload, and copy the part for message boards with the around it.
It's hard for people to want to post in a thread about your tank if they can't see it, that's all.

Sounds to me like your probes were't properly stored and have now failed.
Oh and don't waste your time running a probe on your calcium reactor, it's completely unnecessary.
Why wouldn't you want to? Are you suggesting just using a timer instead? I use the probe to adjust my reactor so not sure why I'd want to take it out....

Have you seen a floating canopy? Basically just a suspended canopy. Would probably be the easiest route.
If they were LEDs id show you pics of that members tank with the paper Japanese latern things but those would catch fire lol

Post pics dude!

How old are your probes and were they stored properly if not new?
-
I'll take the booster pump, can PayPal to hold until I can come get it if you like. PM me about it.

It's true. I'm pretty sure Jeff alone is keeping Gobstoppers off the endangered species list.
LOL!
ya I think I have like 200. Just keep fragging when they grow off the 2" disk and start a new one. They are all overgrown again
Using old Apple devices as webcam for tanks

Anyone played with this? I have and really enjoy it. It's nice to repurpose old phones that you may have laying around collecting dust. I'm using an old 3GS which is basically worthless these days but works easier than the wifi cam I bought for this!
