  1. $100 unit and tubing holder is sold. $80 unit is still available.
  2. Sure, that's no problem. Shipping would be about $15. I'll send you PM
  3. I have 2 Bubble Magnus BM-T01 Dosing pumps for sale. These were used for about 2 years to dose Cal/Alk/Mag and were working OK before they were taken off-line when I switched over to Calcium Reactor setups. The tubing was recently replaced. One has a motor that is a little noisier than the others. I replaced the motor and the head unit and it still makes more noise, so not sure what that is about, but it otherwise seems to be working OK. The other motor and head can go with as spares. I paid $270, Asking $100 and $80 for the one with the noisier motor. I also have a basically new bubble Magnus tubing holder available for $10. I paid $15 Anything I sell has a 30 day guarantee that it works as advertised. I'm located in Tigard.
  4. What size of system do you have?
  5. A 3 day blackout will usually make it disappear temporarily, but it will usually slowly come back. H2O2 is effective on some strains of dinos but not on others. I would keep up with the H2O2 and declare victory if you don't see any return after about 2 weeks.
  6. I have a basically new Carbon Doser Electronic CO2 regulator for sale. It's the best regulator on the market. Pretty much set it and forget it. This was bought last year and used as a spare backup and was used for maybe a couple of weeks. I paid $299. Asking $200 Anything I sell has a 30 day money back guarantee I am located in Tigard.
  7. I am in Tigard, but Zoolander beat you too it.
  8. Definitely a disease like a fungal infection, marine velvet or similar and nothing to do with bristle worms. You don't need to worry about the bristle worms. The smaller ones that you normally find in reef tanks are harmless scavengers.
  9. You came for Stomatella and left with Godzillastella. Don't blame me if it eats your cat.
  10. Fragging Gorgonians is pretty easy. Here is the basic process. 1) Get yourself a single edge razor or perhaps a very sharp knife. 2) Cut the ribbon where you want to frag it. You can do this in the tank with sharp scissors or lay the colony on a plastic cutting board (or similar surface) and cut it with the razor. 3) Place the frag on the cutting board and use the razor to cut part way through the bottom 1/8" or so of the the frag and then use the razor to scrape the flesh away from the tough cord that runs up the center of the gorgonian like a backbone. Flip it over and repeat to remove the flesh on the other side. You should now have a frag with a handy mounting cord sticking out of it at the bottom. 4) You can glue that cord into a small hole in a rock or take a small drill bit that you don't care about and drill a small hole in a reef plug and glue it into that. If you try to just glue the flesh of the Gorgonian, it will sometimes cause it to rot. Much better to strip the flesh before gluing.
  11. It is 20.25" to the top of the handle. Lots of other stuff available as well including Carbon Doser regulator, etc which I am planning on putting up for sale as soon as I have some time.
  12. I have a full 10lb steel CO2 tank from Airgas that I'll sell for $50. I think I paid around $125 for it. It is about 20" tall and may be bigger than what you are looking for.
  13. I have some stomatellas running around. I can probably catch a couple for you if you want. I'm located in Tigard.
  14. If you can, try to adjust your skimmer wide open so that it will start to pull this out of the water without quickly overflowing the cup.
  15. That seems like a really blue spectrum for the Macros, but it seems to be working well for you.
  16. I have found this to be the best approach in my experience. Why fiddle with trying to fine tune both CO2 injection and effluent rates to hit a certain reactor pH when you can just basically max the effluent so that the flow stays fairly constant and then adjusting the CO2 to provide the amount of alkalinity that your tank needs and letting the pH land where ever it lands. A side benefit is that you are less likely to turn your media into mush since your are running the reactor at a higher pH. For example, I have 2 identical reactor setups on 2 identical tank setups. On the heavily loaded SPS system, the reactor runs at a pH of 6.55 and on a lighter loaded LPS and softie system, the pH runs at around 6.87 to meet the tank demands. The effluent rate is set for the same 100ml / min on both systems. Investing in a high qualify CO2 regulator like the Carbon Doser is money better spent IMO than on expensive equipment just to move a precise amount of water through the reactor.
  17. If you want to increase the output, you can get upgrade kits from places like BRS that add a 2nd membrane. Basically it doubles the output of the unit so not only can you make water twice as fast but you also produce only half the amount of waste water for the same amount of output.
  18. Quit the impressive setup. The Macro is looking happy, what kind of lighting are you using over your refugium?
  19. FatChevy, The chiller was sold today. Everything is now sold except for the PinPoint pH monitor/controller and reflectometer. --- Ken
  20. Here is what is left. I would like to get rid of this stuff this Sunday if possible. 1. JBJ Arctica Titanium Chiller 1/3HP. Like new and comes with an Ocean Runner 2500 pump. Was $450, will sell for $400. 4. Aquarium Plants aluminum CO2 tanks, 10lbs, like new. Was $50, will let go fo $40 5. PinPoint pH monitor/controller w/probe and calibration fluid. Was $80, will let go for $60 7. Sun System Galaxy electronic ballasts 250-400W switchable. Single outlet per ballast. Was $75 ea, now $120 for both. 13. AquaMedic Reflectometer. Used twice. Was $50, now $40 Other stuff free to anyone that buys anything and can use it. 1 gal BRS Kalk 1/2 gal BRS Sodium Bicarbonate 800g Kent Turbo Calcium 400g Kent Turbo Calcium ) --- Ken
  21. The Tunze Osmolator has been sold along with the free wavemaker.
  22. I have 2 Galaxy single output 250W/400W switchable ballasts in the for sale section if you are still looking. Only used 1 year and selling for $75 ea.
  23. The whole tank is 1/2". I consider it marginal to fill completely as it would hold about 300 gallons. The old Upscales display tank I think is 1/2" with narrow top bracing similar to this tank, but it isn't as wide and holds 220g. I'll also mention that the sides and back are black acrylic since it was built into the wall. Tank cost $2500 when I had it made a couple of years ago. Asking price is $900.
