  1. I carry a s&w titanium 357 mag on me everywhere I go! Used to carry an auto, but switched to a revolver a few months ago. Once you get used to carrying, it will become as regular as wearing your seatbelt. You never know...
  2. Do you run a calcium reactor? If so, it could be the cause.
  3. I have had a target pistol shrimp for three years who is a cleptomaniac!
  4. Mine looks like that and I've had him for two years. Get a pistol shrimp!
  5. I was electrocuted by a pump that was in my sump. It was only about two weeks old! I was standing on a styrofoam box lid in my garage barefoot so my feet wouldn't be cold. I touched the water and didn't really notice a shock. Then as I was changing the filter sock I touched the water again while not on the box top and got lit up like a Christmas tree. The worst part is my volt meter was at work, so my way of figuring out which piece of equipment was the culprit was to unplug one thing at a time then quickly touch the water and see if I got shocked still!!! I'm a smart one
  6. Yes, We have a 5" and a 7" direct bolt on intercooler/piping kit as well as a full exhaust and intakes for the 335/135. Our sales guy has a 335 with all of our bolt-ons with an E manage that puts down around 440 whp on our dyno! Check our youtube videos for videos of the world record holding Evo X running 9's in the quarter.
  7. Consider the chiller sold! I can't PM you cause your box is full. I REALLY NEED this chiller!!! PM me asap or call/text me (360) 910-5528. I'll even give you $225!!! Pick me!
  8. I'm the shop foreman at Extreme Turbo Systems. I work on anything that is turbo charged, Mainly Evos, STI, and GT-R intercoolers/manifolds. I'm not really a tech, but I'd put myself in the same group.
  9. +1 on the hanna, just make sure you get the ultra low range one if you're trying to get your levels close to zero
  10. How about "Thumper", you know like a rabbit... And did you know that Jack is the 11th most popular name for a pet rabbit! I like Jack better than Gus, and so does my wife
  11. I have a thirty inch deep tank, yeah it is a little annoying when you drop something in it, but it is very nice to to look at it without bending over at all. I love the deep dimension of my new tank and as long as you have a good magfloat youre fine. If I would have listened to woody when I was setting up my tank, then I would be running a pump that pumped about 550 gal/hr and a sump with no baffles at all on a 110 gallon tank. He swore to me that using a 1500 gal/hr. would never work. Not to mention his recommendations of a 90% water change once a month... Take everything you hear with a grain of salt and do what will make you happy.
  12. 20k bulbs seems a little too blue for my liking. My set-up is two 250 mh and two 110 watt vhos. Has anyone ever tried supplementing the 20k bulbs with 10k vho bulbs? Or would I be better off supplementing 14K mhs with actinic/454 vhos?
  13. So last night I went in to OIAB to pick up a coral that they were holding onto for me and ended up leaving with the coral and a dual 250 galaxy ballast, bulbs, and reflectors! I normally wouldn't have splurged like that but they made me a deal I couldn't refuse. I cannot believe the deals they give are even profitable sometimes. I go to every lfs I can find, and have yet to find another that even comes close in the categories of quality/selection of corals and fish, price, and customer service. Thanks guys
  14. Fisherman's marine supply in Delta Park
  15. Feed your fish the minimum amount, Sometimes I will skip an entire day (once a week). Other than that I only feed once a day. I've got twelve fish in a 110 and nitrates are at zero.
  16. "Angel" is the keyword here. Not trying to be a downer but I had to dismantle my tank to capture an angel. No more angels for me.
  17. I want to know if anyone has had experience keeping a Hawaiian cleaner wrasse? I've heard that they are extremely difficult to get to eat fish food. What are the best foods to try out when trying to get a finicky fish to eat. Live black worms? Thanks
  18. I have a sixline for sale. $10. Very healthy/friendly fish. I've had him for about a year. Today I am going to swap all my tank inhabitants to my new tank and figured now would be a good time to take out any fish that I want to.
