  6. Thank you for the awesome trade today Doug! I am lovin the chili pepper monti. That was cool of you to hook me up with that extra frag too. See you around sometime I am sure.
  7. Oh and you don't need to worry about flow...the caulerpa likes a good amount of flow.
  8. My caulerpa has helped a lot with my algae. I only have to use my mag scraper on my glass once every 5 days or so instead of almost every day. I have not had a problem with mess at all. Sometimes strands will break off and float around in the sump, but I have never had any get into my tank (of course I have my return pump blocked off pretty good so debris can't get in it. I have not had a mess with it as they just grow little roots that attach to other rocks. I also have tons of pods living in there.
  9. I know not everyone likes this, but you could do what I do and throw some caulerpa in the sump with a light and a few rocks next to it and watch the stuff grow like crazy. Cheap and easy "refugium".
  10. Thanks for the kind words Jesse. You were pretty generous with our first trade before, so I thought I would get you back. And those "twigs" are doing great! Everything is doing well in my tank. Thank you again for the corals. (rock2)
  11. Thanks Jesse for the trade! Those corals rock (rock2)
  12. (clap) Yes I want some chili pepper monti!! I have been wanting some of that. Are you able to come to Vancouver? Let me know. Ryan

  14. **SOLD NoobtoSalt**So, I recently got this maroon clown from a guy that was getting rid of his saltwater stuff (going to freshwater planted) and I decided that it is not on my list of "must have" fish in my tank...I can only put one or two more fish in due to current stock and tank size. Anyways, the fish is currently livin it up in my sump. It appears to be healthy and it ate some frozen mysis last night, so no problems with feeding. It is just over 3" long. I would like to trade for... - Montipora (just not idaho grape, rainbow, blueberry cheesecake, orange cap, green cap, or green digi) - Acans - Blastos - Favia - Zoas Let me know what you have for trade and lets make a deal! I want this guy gone by the end of the weekend. Thanks!
  15. He must have just seen snow for the first time or something (clap)
  16. So, after giving some thought to this, I will be offering it for trade/sale. I decided that I do not want to risk it being a bully and then having to try catching the darn thing to take it out of my DT. I also was thinking about how I can probably only add one or two more fish to my tank anyways before it will be too crowded and decided that this fish is not on my list of must haves. Pnkrcklives has first dibs on it and if it doesn't work out, then I will make a listing for it. Thanks again for all the input.
  17. No, you guys have the wrong idea...i should have clarified. The guy was selling the last of his saltwater stuff because he was turning his tank into a freshwater planted tank to go with his ciclid tank.
  18. So, I got this smokin deal from a guy for some corals and one of the stipulations was that I also take his maroon clown. This fish is just a tad over 3" long and appears to be healthy. After acclimating him, I put him in my sump while I figure out what to do with him...I am concerned whether he will bully my other fish or not since he is bigger than all of them except my coral beauty. Here is what I have: Coral beauty - 3" Dragon/Bullet Goby - 2.5" 2x O. Clowns - 2" 2x Green Chromis - 1.5" Three Stripe Damsel - 1.5" Cleaner Shrimp Coral Banded Shrimp Hermits, nass snails, turbos, brittle star If not recommended for my tank, then I will post it for sale/trade so it goes to a good home. Thanks in advance for input.
  19. Ok they are gone now They were easy to scrape off with a razor blade and tweezers. I put super glue in the spots they were just in case there was any microscopic parts left that I couldn't see.
  20. Cool thats what I suspected they were, I just didn't know for sure there were ones that had green and actually looked cool. Thanks!
  21. So, on the rock that my purple monti cap is on there are 3 what appear to be mojanos maybe, but they have green on them instead of all brown. Are these mojanos or are they some sort of paly or something? They are pretty cool looking, but if they are mojanos then they need to be eliminated fo sho.
