  1. I know it's far but we have a couple of really big flat piece of LR at the Nautilus right now.
  2. Thought I'd throw it up here that I'm on my honeymoon and won't be taking any business calls until Thursday the 26th. You can always pm me though. Thanks, Micah
  3. It's 5.5ft by 5.5ft right? I might have a buyer for you.
  4. I've got a brand new Kent Nautilus. $125 no pump.
  5. I think you have that backwards, but it may just be my phone.
  6. Here are some more pictures.
  7. These are at the cold water tanks at Lane Community College. I often collect mussles for them and the Nautilus to feed their starfish and usually collect other cool things when I find them. I think they run their tanks in the low 50's.
  8. Definitely not a nassarius. Wrong shaped shell, and never goes under the sand.
  9. Any ideas? He's now in the femto until further notice.
  10. If you google seal rock, I found him next to the rock islands you can see there.
  11. I have my Fishing and Shellfish licence which covers everything I collected.
  12. I went to Seal Rock yesterday to go tidepooling! Here's the notable catch: Sea Lemon (Anisodoris nobilis) Red Sea Cucumber (Cucumaria miniata) Can't remember this cucumbers name (Mr. Wheeling?) It's tiny and looking like a gum wad And, Northern Cling Fish (Gobiesox maeandricus) I also got some interesting shrimps and sponges.
  13. I've got an awesome culture of Daphnia magna going. They make great live food for your freshwater fish. I feed them on mostly yeast but I feed a little phyto once a week too. If anybody is interested, let me know and we can work out price or trade.
  14. The amount of macro that would fit in this wouldn't be enough to make a difference with nutrients, I may add some halimeda to the display portion though. I have also been adding a little squirt of live Nannochloropsis and T. Californicus after I do a wc though. Not sure if it is doing anything but it adds diversity so it can hurt.
  15. Filtration at this point is..... Undeveloped. I'm been using a small bag of carbon and a little square of pond bio-pad. No mechanical filtration at this point. I was thinking that I could rubberband some filter pad around the pump if I felt like I needed it. I've been to a 1qt water change once a week.
  16. Oh yeah, I'm running a little Top Fin 7.5w heater (12.99) on a Resun heater controller.
  17. This is my non-competition femto tank. The tank is about 1.7g total but running volume (minus rock, sand and equipment) is 1.4g. I like the set up too much to try to get it down below 1 gallon for the comp. The tank is a critter cage ($12.99 new, but I traded for it). I siliconed a piece of plastic into the back for all the equipment. It’s running a 11w screw in LED that I bought off ebay a few months ago. It’s looks to be about 10k ish to me. This is a top shot from right after it was set up. Here’s from a few days ago and here’s from yesterday after I” modded” the light. So far stock is 2 nassarius snails, a margarita snail, a stoma snail, a hermit crab, black sponge, a leather coral, and candy apple red zoas. I plan on adding some more stoma snails, a few more corals, and possibly a small yellow watchmen goby and/or a sleeper goby we have at the shop.
  18. Is the group by prices better than the preferred customer price?
  19. Too high? Any interest? It's not mine so make me any offer, he's desperate. He's will to trade for another skimmer as well.
  20. Looking for a 250w lumen max elite hqi DE reflector and an electronic ballast (preferably ice cap like his other one).
  21. Thanks! BTW, Shoot me your email and I'll send you the spread sheet of your test results.
  22. sold mine to a guy earlier today he really want another. I got 100 bucks out of mine, I'm sure he'd go up to around 120. Please pm me if you have on your willing to sell.
  23. Kent Marine Nautilus. Brand new, never seen saltwater. No pump. This is the 24" model rated for 400 gallons (perfect for your average 55-90g sps). Asking $150 obo. It's a little dusty in the picture.
  24. I would take all 8 of the tadpoles if I can get a ride for them.
