I have never used WD-40 but I think it should work or if you have any new motor oil around that would work as well. It's used to keep it a bit cooler and keeps it from starting to splinter as quick. And you should not score the same line twice if you don't get it to break the first time it will ruin the glass cutter if you score over the top of your last score line. If you don't get the glass to break on the line within a decent amount of time you will start to see it kinda spitting little shards of glass from the cut line. At this point it is not going to want to break clean and my not break on the line or break at all.

I used to do this for a living. It's as easy as he makes it look after a few times. And the oil cutter like the one I still have similar to his makes a difference since their is oil that comes out of the cutter along the whole score. The basic cutters you get at home depot and other places usually do not have the option of putting oil in them. The oil gives you more time to break the glass apart.

Tempered cannot be cut. If your goal is to turn to a few thousand pieces than go for it. Now you can google it and find some people say it can be done but good luck. You will find people talking about cutting it with a laser or doing what you half to do to cut laminated glass with lighting the cutting area on fire.

Ya I unfortunately had to use it last night. I think it worked really well though. When I got home yesterday I took a look at the tank and noticed one of my MP40s was off. I forgot the night before my wife called me when I was out driving my friends daughter around and said there was a hot smell from the tank area. So when I was looking around about to get the wet side out I saw for some reason my Westside watermelon chalice was half toasted(flame)(cussing)(censored). For what reason I have no clue there is nothing around it to do that so I fraged it up to see if I could save it. It has been in the same spot for like a year. Hopefully some of it stays alive it was getting so big to(sad) You are welcome Kris. I was worried that people were going to wonder why I kept getting more turns than everyone else (laugh). Beth tried out the ecotech glue and likes it a lot!
