  4. Share the love. Boy i hope i timed that one right. LOL how does that work anyways? I'm used to automatic timers now so i forgot how to time something right, wait what time is it?
  5. (enforcer) thats my love dang it! (threaten)
  6. Vanz. i run marine max in my tanks, especially when i add new fish and i feed heavy garlic. Fat fish are healthy fish. most of the time anyways.
  7. I agree chromis are hard to keep, once they get past a month in the tank they are usually good to go. He got his fish strait from hawaii so there really is no better source, LOL.
  8. it could be marine velvet or a secondary bacterial infection. try some kind of antibiotic.
  9. I test my SG by the ich on my fish.
  10. That would definitely be a special order piece. I know you can get the switching dock bars from guitar center, but not with timers, you would have to run separate timer units on them, which wouldn't save you a ton of money. They also dont handle a ton of amps either so i wouldn't get one and go running all your pumps, lighting etc on one dockbar. I went with a programmable reefkeeper unit which automates everything and lets you turn ports on and off from the interface. still pricey though at a few hundred.
  11. Your just jealous that you didn't invent a masterpiece formula that 90% of the time it works every time, wait what time is it?
  12. welcome again, us night owls hafta drag outta bed when the sun pokes us.
  13. Me too. It's sad but it's true
  14. Welcome to the forum. It's late night owls now. Hope to see some pics of the tanks soon.
  15. Some progress photos getting the stand ready. Temporarily Housing some fish and rocks. Don't try this at home Refugium Stand Refugium installed.
  16. i'm glad i don't fart like that.
  17. updated scale picture of the plumbing diagram. Everything fits exact. I hope it actually all works out. I didn't realize everything was going to come down the exact inch on my stand.
  18. Thanks for the input. i will test out the 1" scwd's on a manifold with my new 2400 gph pump. I'm curious now what they will put out. I appreciate your time and explanation.
  19. I'm interested in how you tested this, being that you have 2 points of exit for the flow and a device that swaps between the two and does not do it immediately, at one point both sides run together. I have 3 sets of SCWD's on 2 different tanks, I've run them back to back with a strait T and ball valves and then replacing it with a SCWD. I've noticed very little if any loss of flow at all. The turbulent activity is excellent. Believe me it was definitely a concern of mine too, but i had very good results and for the cost to implement, i love them. That being said, i am still interested to learn what you know about them and how you implemented them, why you don't like them because i plan to put 2 more on my 120G i'm building.
  20. Least hassle, but most intrusive and upsetting. I bet that DIY trap will work. I hate damsels too. took me 3 months to finally get mine out.
  21. those are some incredible pics of a very nice clean tank. Great work.
  22. so far mine have been model citizens. (fingers)
  23. I think my maroon clown needs a large anemone. This is about the equivalent of a 450lb fat man driving in a smart car. that torch is about 4" wide. mated pair.
