Oh yeah he did have the cutest little snowflake eel and an octopus too! His address is 8215 SE 7th and phone is 503-901-1487. You have to call him to let you in because the fish store is in the back of a warehouse.
Tim's a good guy. You need to get another tank where you can have corals! It's quite addictive (and expensive) and you are not as limited. You can only have so many fish and so many kinds. With corals the possibilities are almost endless!
I don't know what kind of ballast it is. At the risk of sounding stupid DOH! it is small black and says on the back:
Hamilton technology lights H6 175W Halide use only Ansi M57. I don't know if that means anything to you.(scratch)
It is more like a hum and then kind of sounds like a motor and then it stops.
And for Algae:
It hums only country music songs so it has to stop!
I will have it checked out, thanks. I know it can make noise when fired up but the noise it makes after the light shuts off does not sound right at all.
Again very nice stuff Brad at good prices. That nice acro frag (whatever its called not the blue milli) colored up nicely in our tank. Has deep green base and light blue tips!(drooler)
LOL (laugh) Smannk and Frank hit the nail right on the head! Problem solved tanktop74 just forgot to open the effluent valve DOH!
Thanks for the help!
When all else fails... read the directions!
The ballasts for my 175 W MH starts making this awful humming noise right after the light shuts off. It's an almost new ballast. Is this bad? Is this normal?
Does it mean its going out?
It's driving me crazy!(nutty)
Like I said before, I would be interested in 1 or 2 MP40's too but have no clue how to get it going. Judging by the interest in the thread, I think we easily have 10 people who would go in on this.
Ps emerald, would that case of beer fit in a 10G..?.drove to PDX to pick up an anenome from andy....whooo hooo!
Sounds like a philosophical question newfisher.. How does one fit
a case of milwaukee's best into a 10 gallon tank.(scratch) You have good memory by the way.. (When it comes to beer!
Hmmm, I thought the oldest question was glass versus acrylic. I couldn't decide so I got both.
We will be mixing our own salt the first time this weekend... It is time....
your duncans are so cool Brad. You sure you want to frag it up? I like how you got the purple tang to pose next to it to give perspective.
I would be interested if you do "part it out"
By the way where did you get the frag plugs that look like rocks that we got the sunset tyree monti?
