Would you hang the skimmer on the back of the refugium or the main tank? I have never set up a larger tank on a stand. All I have is a 20 gallon tank that sits on the counter. That is why I am asking. The other question is should I do hard plumbing with PVC os just use hose? Thanks Bryan

I am starting to set up a new tank. (clap) I have a 38 gallon tank on a black stand. There is not much room inside the stand to put anything. I can barely fit a 10 gallon tank. I want to know what would be better to have, a 10 gallon sump or a 10 gallon refugium? (scratch) I was going to use an Aqua Clear 110 for a little refugium off the back of the tank but it won't fit under the light fixture I have for this tank. What is the best choice for a reef tank? Yes they are little red tubes. It looks like I have cobwebs in my tank. Will it kill my corals? Or just irritate them? Thanks Bryan

The acan I have is at the top of my tank and doing great. It is bright red and extends out very far. It is in a 20 gallon with a 24" 4 bulb T5 fixture. Bryan

I could do that if I wasn't stuck in an apartment right now. The ex got the house with my garage. I only got to keep some of my tools and they are in storage. So the $40 dollar stand is going to do for now. At least until I find a duplex with a garage. When she finally gives me my equity out of the house, I will start looking for my own. The one for $101 is a cheap China made one that I have found online for $40. There's a big difference between a custom stand and one out of cheap tubeing from China. Bryan
