My flame angle doesn't bother any of my corals. (clap) I only have a couple pieces of SPS with more LPS and softies. Hasn't touched any of it, I guess I am lucky.

I am having trouble keeping my alk up as well. I get it to around 9 and a couple days later it is back to 5.4. I just picked up a dosing pump to start taking care of this.

I am looking at getting some acans. Do you think they would be OK in the bag for a day? I guess I could run home at lunch but then I really wouldn't have time to acclumate them very long. Maybe 15 minutes. I would like to acclumate longer than that. Any ideas?

For those of you that have ordered corals online, which I have never done, if I have the corals sent to my work, will they be ok in the bag all day until I get home and start acclumating them? (scratch)

I have always wanted a bird. But with the amount of time I spend at work and then out doing other things, it is just not fair for the bird to be home alone all the time. I guess that is why I have a reef tank. Hope you find the right person of family for him!

Sometimes I find it hard to believe what I give up so I am able to buy some new piece of coral, a new fish or that next piece of equipment. I am in desperate need of a new couch but I don't want to fork over the cash because if I do, it will be a couple months before I have extra money to spend on my tank (naughty). There many other things I need but that means there is less money to spend on my tank. What are we supposed to do? (scratch) What kind of things do you give up, not get or do without so you are able to buy that next coral, fish or piece of equipment?

I take it, it's reef safe? Won't it sneak up and eat your sleeping fish?

So my home water supply was only putting out 20 psi into my RO unit. I got a booster pump and now it is at 80 psi. Is that too high? I thought they are supposed to run at about 60 psi.
