  1. Boxfish are extremly passive fish due to the fact that they are poisonous to most fish. When they are stressed and/or threatend they secreat a noxtious mucus. They should only be housed in a tank with passive/peacefull fish. He is definatley to chill to be in there with the trigger and tangs.

  4. Looks great Alex!!! Just the lone yellow in there? He needs some homies!
  5. Sorry for your loss. I concur with ck, it is important to wait for 3 months or more. The reason is your bio filter hasnt been established so it canot proccess the amount of waist from the fish. Espesialy the amount of waist that come out of Tangs. There are also many forms of bacteria that help keep the fish healthy and disese free. These are all things we cant really test for with our kits. Wait for at least 3 months, then add your clean up crew first. Snails/crabs maybe a serpent star, then a small hardy fish like a few chromis or talbot damsels.

i would get a orange shoulder tang or a LT tang! Both are awesone fish and fairly inexspensive.
  8. sweet looking corals my friend. The problom is all but the bottom one apear to be blasted with actinic so thats not what they will look like in your tank buddy. BE-CAREFUL WHAT YOU BUY AND FIND OUT WHAT LIGHT THE PICTURE IS TAKEN UNDER.
  9. Yup Tiger cowrie. I would also have a conversation with whoever you got it from and tell them to do alittle research before selling something.
  10. First off, dont give up my friend! I know it can be very difficult. I think whats going one here is an illness. You probobly have some parisites or fungus killing your fish. Many you cant even see and have no warning signs. All fish need to be removed and treated in a quarintine tank for a few months. Without any fish to host the bad stuff will die. But this will only happen when there are 0 fish in the tank. Im sure thats what it is if your corals are fine.
  11. +1 on Gonipora. As long as you feed your tank (oyster feed) your good. They have a reputation to starve cause they do not have Zooxanthellae.
  12. Dang buddy. Im sorry to here that! Hey I have a uv sterilizer im not using. You can barrow it for as long as you need my friend!
