I will be attempting to get it hooked up in about 25 minutes I’m on my way now I did install the app and the first page that loaf is the list of all the APEX units control I don’t see within the app a “setup “ (this is the screen shot from the app) As much as the way I describe will work ideally wireless is preferred, I’m not sure what I’ll run into when I try ( or how I do it) to switch from wired to wireless

I have not, I will take a look thanks (you know Im messing with you @The ReefBox ) Whats the chance this would work; I can hook up the APEX (wired) to their router and I have a display I can take to then see what IP address the apex is using. I can hook up my laptop to their router and then type that IP address on my laptop which should ( I believe) take me to the apex sign in where default is admin 1234 then I can link it to fusion Thoughts @SuncrestReef

Thanks for the great news, glad it’s the easiest you’ve done!!! #finger The trouble ticket is what I was planning but thought I’d see if there was a process to try problem is it’s at residence in Ridgefield so coordinating the remote session is a challenge (for Neptune to take control remotely) ive hooked it up at my place by seeing what IP addy it’s using thru my router but I don’t have the sign in/PW for the router we’re its needing to be hooked up i never claimed to be an APEX person 😡

I’ve searched Neptune’s Forum and am not finding any past threads on the issue I’m having amen ive posted this question over there but thought I’d give a try here as well I’m trying to set up an EL wirelessly using my iPhone. I follow the directions via “getting started” from Neptune and when I go from the point of plugging in APEX to a power source and then choose “wireless” followed by the device/platform the next page that loads is the 404 error page not found. I tried it also on my IPad as well as a PC notebook every time I get the same 404 error. FWIW, I’m trying to hook this up for someone who is out of town and I don’t have access to their router so wi-fi is the only option for now Hope that makes sense

Speaking from a person with a tank 4’ deep it’s going to have a nice look of “depth” and if you go with a black back (that you will always have spotlessly clean) it looks like it goes on much further than you think, that is of course if you don’t do the fruit stand look of aquascaping Another consideration is if you have a room (frag tanks/equipment room-as i do) that allows viewing from the side, I’d suspect it looking really “odd” IME/O ✌️

Does anyone know if there is a way to retrieve the inital token that was sent when the apex was initially set up and linked to fusion Going to apexfusion.com typing in the name and password which takes them to a page that say "you dont have access to an apex at this time" But when accessing the classic dashboard from their Mac the upper left tile says "apex fusion OK" Id prefer not to initialize memory and redo everything just to get a new token. Id love to socially shame the idiot that refuses to email neptune for help since this falls in my lap to fix, some people should stick to power strips and timers 😡 TIA

Is it possible to eliminate certain or specific bacteria within the tank if identified? I have to believe ( or am hoping) that once you sequence my water that there will be something so out of balance and never before seen by scientists which explains the unrelentingly attack on my acros that decimated years of collecting and growing. hows that for melodramatic in all seriousness, if there is some bacteria detected is there a path of removing specific strains I hope that’s worded correctly

A couple questions if you wouldn’t mind I do t know that I saw this anywhere what type of lighting (spectrum I’d applicable) the total photo period, as well as intensity if that’s adjustable. Id assume all of those would play a factor in algae/diatom growth but that’s just my 2 cents Tha6 again!

I'll stick with the bleach bath (or acid bath) for the current rock I have as they are huge pieces and my tanks on the larger side.
