  1. "I'm pretty sure there's a lot more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking. And I plan on finding out what that is." "What is this? A center for ants? How are they suppose to learn how to read if they can't even fit inside the building?"
  2. Samuel Jackson in Pulp Fiction
  3. What's with all the coral purchases? I thought you guys had moved on to endangered birds and mammals for a bigger thrill? How's the spotted owl system coming along by the way?
  4. Sorry Clay. You were on it but someone actually sent me a PM at like 1:40 so it was a first come deal. I stll have some magnetic ballasts anc capacitors you can have if you can pick them up tomorrow. You need to know about wiring though.
  5. Sorry guys. The ballasts are gone. Dave I have a couple 400w ballasts and capacitors without a ballast box that you can have to fix Rogers light.
  6. I have 3 400w industrial style metal halide ballasts that someone could rewire for aquarium use. Call me and come get them this weekend or they are going in the trash.
  7. Well, you just clowned on that idea. There are some really amazing planted tanks out there. No plastic ornaments.
  8. I have lot's of saltwater tanks. A fresh water tank would allow me to be more of a hobbyist again.
  9. Not much of a build thread as it is an all in one type tank with a factory stand. Total hot rod tank. Unlike your very ordinary new one. (sarcasm if you didn't notice) I should purchase all of my supplies from Sarcastic Corals.
  10. I added a poll just for Kim. lol
  11. I'm going to close this thread as I feel that the point has been made. Agree or disagree but some of us feel that the clubs policy regarding Sponsorships is due for some amending. This was not an attack on any particular new sponsor but rather an attempt to get the club to take a look at where things are going. And regardless of the time line in which I established my business this is how I feel now and how I felt then.
  12. Sounds like you agree with me anyway.
  13. Pictures would be pretty boring right now. It's an empty 24 gallon jbj nano. Nothing special. I just want to keep it fun and simple.
  14. I was making a point that the policy needs to be changed. I think it is great if hobbyists want to go into business. I also think that more value should be placed on becoming a sponsor. Thank you for the personal attack. You hit me with quite a scathing retort.
  15. Just got my self a nano cube 24g. I haven't had a tank at home for a while so this is kind of exciting. Now I need to decide what I want to put in it. I kind of like the idea of keeping colorful mushrooms and maybe one cool fish like a blue spot jaw or something. I have also considered doing a freshwater tank for a change of pace. It's been years since I've had one but I always enjoyed having a planted tank.
  16. This is our club so let's not make it LAME.
  17. Coming soon: It is a joke to be a sponsor at PNWMAS.org aquatics. Since the name is pretty long you can just call it Bull Snot Aquatics. Seriously though the club needs to take sponsorships more seriously and charge more.
  18. I believe they donate a potion of every sale to the school for kids who can't read good and want to learn how to do other stuff good too. Quite a selfless act.
  19. I like the freshwater dip for removing pests. But seriously you should always acclimate the sea turtles slow. They are endangered.
  20. Now a Manatee on the other hand, I do acclimate very slowly! Along with sea turtles, baby blue whales and manta rays. Then I quarantine them in a nano cube 24 gallon. I figured the bigger tank size would be less stressful.
  21. They should be drip acclimated very slowly over a 72 hour period followed by a 24 month quarantine followed by skip all that and throw them right in.
  22. Not enough drama around here huh? Ill try to get it going then. Your mama likes kenya tree............ ooooooohhhhh dissss
