I would assume(oh oh) that there is enough of a call for Metal/Hard Rock music that someone will pick up where KUFO left off. I never really liked it after the so called reformat. I think Kid Chis is just a Howard Stearn wanna be(nothing original out of his mouth) & Ricker, I can't stand the way he talked(I hope he does not go back to KISW in Seattle) I had satellite radio but did not really care for it vs money it costs. Oh well load up on CD's in the meantime.

I ordered one of Reef Cleaners "Quick Crews" clean up crew. Well I ordered it & a day or so later got this E Mail from John (the owner of Reef Cleaners) "We are a small company, and unfortunately 2 of 3 people who run ReefCleaners.org were involved in a head on collision. We both will survive, but I am currently in the ICU, ruptured spleen, lung and broken ribs. We will try to get up to speed ASAP, in the mean time please accept my sincere apology for any inconvenience this has caused you" I got this on a Sunday night,the guy was in the ICU responding to customers! I sent him a reply telling him his health is WAY more important than some snails. WELL not only did they still ship my order on the date promised, they added a bunch of extra snails to boot! I'd say that's some pretty darned good customer service!!

I have no doubt my stand will hold (I overbuilt it strength wise) Tank? I think it would it's downstairs on a cement floor, Daylight basement 3 4" concrete walls around it.

Am I asking too much? Someone make me a decent offer?

I have a Aqua C Pro Remora HOB skimmer with a Mag 3 pump for sale. It's about a year old. I went to an in sump model is the only reason I'm selling it. It works great, has an extra O ring for the collection cup & a venturi cleaning brush. Works great. $100.00 Mike

I have a question. Do you know how long the meeting will last? Since it's a secured faculty will we be able to leave early for those of us that may not be able to make both talks?(time constraints)

My son had his i phone on his dash a couple years ago,sitting at a stop light stepped on the gas the phone slid off the dash..........perfect three pointer into a large cup of water....no insurance. New phone & a lid on his water cups now!

It was supposed to get here Friday BUT UPS claimed "Adverse conditions" & it was Monday at 6:30PM! well I get up at butt crack dawn early(2:30/3:00am) for work so I left it for Tuesday after work since I had to make a stand to raise it up in the water. I just got it hooked up & running a little while ago, So far I like it. I cannot hear a sound out of it except for maybe a slight splashing sound from the water returning out of the gate valve.But then again the valve is open all the way during break in so it's letting a lot of water return. I think I'm going to like it.(clap)(clap)

I just got a Reef Octopus NW 110 for the sump on my 40 Breeder. I just got it hooked up & running about an hour ago & I cannot hear a thing. It was $161.46 from BRS.

OK now for the stupid question.....How do you know when to change them? color change of the material?

What happened? I moved my 45 to my 40B this past Saturday & this Torch just started melting, When I got home today(Tue) this is what it looked like. I have another one that looks fine. I tested the water parameters & everything checks out OK.

You know what they say "opinions are like armpits,everybody has one & they all stink" (laugh) The UPS tracking number says it will be here by the end of the day Friday. If I beat the UPS man here I pitty the dude. I'll be like a big ole slobbery dog running at him! jumping up & down(clap)(clap)(clap)

Roy There's kind of a funny story with that picture. If you will notice the wallpaper border is pool table themed. Well when my wife & I were repainting the downstairs I suggested that border.She said "what next a picture of dogs playing poker?" Well I just had to one up her, next to that is a picture of dogs playing pool.(we have a pool table downstairs so it all fits)

I'm looking at a Reef Octopus 4" pinwheel skimmer for my 40B. Anyone have any experience with these, particularly how quiet they are? Mike

Here's an update finally. I got it plumbed & the 45 moved over to the 40B yesterday. I went with a Maxi Jet 4500 return pump(1175gpm) a BRS media reactor with GFO & carbon. A 22 gal sump. I had hopes that my Aqua C Remora skimmer would work on my sump for the time being but when it's in the cabinet I cannot get the collection cup off so if any on's looking there will be a nice skimmer with a Mag3 pump for sale soon. When I went to move the sand from the 45 it had a slight sulfur smell. i called SWF & Patrick said "if it smalls like sulfur, better go with new sand" so I put new live sand in & used all but 10 gals of the old water. I'm getting some micro bubbles from my returns though. It looks better than the pics make it look. Mike

I took a toothbrush(wonder if my wife will notice a slight salt taste(laugh)) & brushed the bulb connections & everything & left it apart overnight. Put it back together & it works fine!
