I was doing a water change on my 40B today & when I took the filter sock off of the overflow pipe I noticed a little pink spot on the pipe. Upon closer examination I realized it was a RBTA about the size of a dime! Apparently it worked it's way through the Glass-holes overflow box, took a water slide ride down the pipe into the filtersock and attached itself to the PVC pipe. Funny thing is I didn't know I had a Nem. that small in there! I coaxed it off the pipe & it's happily living on a rock now. And it's expanded to about the size of a quarter( funny what a little light will do(laugh) )

I have a ATO.com on my 40B & like it. I also am not real impressed with the Tunze 9002 on my BC29. I have it in my sump & it's kind of ehh.....

Just kind of curious. I have the cheap Home Depot type glass cutter (with no oil reservoir) could you like maybe spray a little WD-40 on the glass in place of the oil type cutter?

Just my luck, I'll be a week early. My wife and I are going to be in town this coming Sunday to see Million Dollar Quartet @ the Paramount.

I added a bottle of that about a month before I got my mandarin. He's fat & happy, is it because of that? who knows? I also have about 70lbs of live rock that's about 4 years old also.

I was not really all that impressed with the Seattle Aquarium. I'm not really into the native Northwest aspects of it. Now Denver.....that's another story, they have a really nice aquarium.

I hear ya Brad, we(that always means me)had to put up all new blinds, paint/wallpaper border & chair rail molding downstairs because my wife said it looked like it was furnished in "contemporary Brady Bunch" I love the Brady Bunch I mumbled to myself (while I was working) Tank build looks great!

I have some Cinnamon Palys that are WAY out of control. Anybody know a way to be rid of them? or at least slow them down? Mike
