I put a JBJ Viper2 150w HQI MH over my 12g and it was awesome....crazy growth and it looked great....except for all the escaping light....

yeah....BUT....he smokes it first....then scrapes the pipe, adds water and drinks....then he ..(puke).. collects....loads...and slams remaining....(crazy)

well....as most of us know.....Brad shoots up zoajuice.....its really bad(nutty)

I know....this sux all the way around. I don't have any Icecap products but have heard good things about them. I too feel for all the employee's....there really is no good time....but right before Christmas....man....that totally blows.

Thought I would share.... "IceCap...the talk of merging ...now its decided to close its doors.. please read. IceCap, a once popular lighting company that is headquartered in the United States is out of business. In a letter to their customers, Chuck Troiani stated that they have suspended operations. Chuck goes on to explain: “Unfortunately, we finally hit a trough in our business cycle due to several factors that impaired this business to the point where we could not and cannot recover. Therefore, by the direction of the IceCap, Inc. Board of Directors we have suspended operations.” Times have certainly changed, as IceCap used to be the leader in aquarium lighting equipment with their popular line of Metal Halide lights, however with the advent of LED lighting and the poor business planning contributed to IceCap’s demise. However, it looks like IceCap is seeking a buyer of the brand along with a new management team, investors, and/or owners. This announcement comes less than a month after we learned their assets were purchased by the factoring company Millennium Funding. Apparently that effort did not work as planned and this is less than two months from when we originally reported IceCaps problems. Check down below for the full email sent to their vendors. Dear Valued Customer, First, I would like to extend a Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you, your family, and employees. I know this comes somewhat bitter sweet as many of you have attempted recently to contact IceCap, Inc. with little to no success. For that I am truly sorry. IceCap, Inc. has been around for about 20 years and many of you have been dedicated and loyal customers of IceCap, Inc. through the ups and downs over the years. Unfortunately, we finally hit a trough in our business cycle due to several factors that impaired this business to the point where we could not and can not recover. Therefore, by the direction of the IceCap, Inc. Board of Directors we have suspended operations. What this means is we are aggressively and actively seeking opportunities to keep the IceCap brand viable in the markets and with the customers we have served over the past 20 years. (flame) NO....last time....at my previous job my butthole co-worker thought it was funny to sign up and post on this site when he found out I was on here. These shrimp worked and are working like a charm....fish...sharks went nuts...and the remaining shrimp are simply cleaning my tank while they get eaten. WONDERFUL. I am making another order in less than a week. I will post up when I do.

agreed....everything I have or had of value has frags sitting in others tanks. At some point I will get them back....but I couldn't agree more....this is a very good idea.

My thoughts are splitting if you don't see any deterioration of the flesh. Mine would like like hammered....%#@ the day before it split...sometimes....other times it was totally normal one day...then there were 2 the next.

I have a sump that I believe is 80g. I will measure it tonight...but it is approximately 1 inch too long for my stand. I can actually use it but it would have to sit on the walls of my stand and would make skinning very difficult. I would like to trade this for a sump that is almost identical in size....but obviously an inch shorter length wise. Let me know what you got. This sump is drilled for a couple pumps, skimmers, and ATO. But I will patch the holes if you don't want them. If yours has holes I wouldn't be to worried as I can patch those too if need be. Let me know what you got....I don't care if it is just a tank....I can baffle it myself if need be. This is a pretty large sump though....I mean I have seen bigger but this is for a pretty good size system. I will snap some pic's and post em tonight.

Michael....I am not disputing with you. But I will say when I was running the GOC's it was quite easy to get donations from the sponsors. I am sure after all the recent drama it is much more difficult. But it wasn't really all that hard at all. I think really the only problem here is that the donating sponsor didn't voice their concerns before hand. Then the item went up for sale and they were all like "hey....I could have made that money" So in future raffles....it should be specified before hand as to what the sponsor wants to happen....or not happen with their donations. But let's be honest....it isn't really going to matter. If the winner wants to sell it they are going to post it on CL, RF, RC, R2R, or any number of sites.

lol.....all I think of is "THIS IS SPARTA!!!"....THIS IS PORLTAND!!!! . As for the PAR meter....I know it has been requested numerous times in the past. But I would assume those requesting it....like me....already borrowed one from else where to do what they had to do.

My CBS was very aggressive towards my cleaner shrimp....like really aggressive.

It would just die....that is the messed up thing about this hobby....very little that we raise or grow in our tank would actually survive in the wild should we "free" it.

I watched a Burmesse python I had eat my neighbors dog.....stupid chihuahua....I told her to stop letting her dog do it's dirty work in our front yard...but she didn't listen in fact she was very adamant about it not being her dog....even though I have watched it do it....what do you know....after that fate full evening I never found another pile in my yard....(scratch) FYI, I own both a dog....chihuahua at that....and cats. Before you think I am just blasting one or the other.
