  1. Here are the other photos. By the way, some of these corals look better in the photos than they do in my tank. I am not trying to BS anybody but I have no idea how to doctor a photo. I take photos with an underwater camera by shooting directly over the coral and the photos that I post are exactly as they are taken by point and shoot. Over head shots look a little different than the corals appear to the naked eye from the front of the tank. They are still nice but I can't capture the color exactly as it appears from the front viewing.
  2. I have several frags for sale. I would really like these gone quickly to make room in my tank for other corals. I am offering very fair prices to get them gone quickly. Here is a list of what I have: 1. Oregon Blue tort: 1 available about 3/4" $20 2. Bright blue milli: one of the nicest millis I have ever seen, two 1" frags (also have a 3rd that is a frag plug covered that broke off from the main colony, so it is flat with no branches but will start to branch) $10 each 3. peach birdsnest with green/yellowish tips: one 1" frag $10 4. ORA green birdsnest: one 1" frag $10 5. Unknown blue acro: a really nice blue acro with green tints in the base and blue coralites with blue polyps: two frags, 1" $10, 2" $20 6. Purple polyp birdsnest: two 1" frags $10 7. Fire and Ice zoas: nice orange skirt with blue outer center and yellow splotches on the inner circle: Probably 150 polyps available, I will frag any size that you want but about $1 per polyp, less for frags over 10 polyps. 8. Bright pink chalice: about 1" X 3/4", $30 See photos below for reference. Call Jake at 503-330-4772.
  3. Even if you scratch it a few times the scratches are very easy to remove. I love acrylic tanks.
  4. I am sorry Bob but all of the montis are sold. I will have more frags soon and I will get a hold of you. I still have the setosa and the blue tort and several other that I had not listed before. I am going to post a new thread because it starts to get confusing knowing what is around and what is not with this old one. If anyone wants this setosa or the tort let me know.
  5. I would seriously consider a 6 line wrasse or a melanarus as suggested by rose city before going to the extreme of QTing all of your montis. I have also had success watching my montis in the evening with the lights off and sucking the nudibranchs out with a turkey baster. They seem to conglomerate to on a single colony until it is devoured and then move on, so if you can find the heavy concentration of them you can remove a large population with the turkey baster. I had them infect a colony about 6 months ago and between the turkey baster and adding a 6 line I have not seen 1 since. I have probably 15 healthy monti colonies all growing and thriving very nicely. I could be wrong but that was my experience.
  6. Not a bid deal at all. CCR is a great guy and you are welcome to call me whenever you want them in the future and I should be able to frag a few for you again.
  7. In my experience they will definitely grow back. If there is any tissue left at all they will be back within a few weeks. In the future you can cut the paly right at the stem of the polyp with a razor and glue the polyp head onto another rock. The old stem will grow a new polyp and you have a new frag. Easy way to frag with no risk of smashing them.
  8. The pokerstar, sunset monti, and setosa are all for sale again. Call if you want them. Thanks.
  9. Both of the Oregon blue tort and birdnest frags available. The rest are sold. Thanks.
  10. both pokerstars, both monti digitata, sunset, and setosa are pending. Everything else still available.
  11. Here are the remaining photos. My camera sucks so I do the best to represent the actual color of the coral. I just take the photo and upload the image so no photoshop or changes are made. But the camera seems to make everything look a little darker or bluer than they actually are. All of these photos were taken under 400W 20K halides with vho actinic supplement.
  12. I have a few frags for sale. Here is the list 1. pokerstar monti: 2 frags, fairly small about 3/4" encrusted on a disc $10 each 2. sunset monti: about 1/2" X 1/2" encrusted on a rock $30 3. montipora setosa: about 1/2" X 1/4" (one of the branches off of the mother colony posted below) $30 4. Oregon blue tort: Sorry I don't have a photo of this one but you know what it looks like, 2 frags 1 is 1/2" and the other 3/4". Sorry they are small but I can't frag big pieces. The 3/4" is $25 and the 1/2" $15 5. Red/Pink montipora digitata, 2 frags each about 2" tall with a few branches $10 each 6. Unknown purple acro: I don't know what type of coral this is but it has a slight pale green color to the base with purple coralites and polyps. This is a big piece. There are 2 4" pieces attached to a rock (to be sold as 1 piece) with several smaller new growth branches beginning. Each of the 2 main branches is really thick (approximately 1" diameter). $50. 7. ORA greenbirds nest, at least 1" frags for $10 each 8. Peach birdsnest with yellow/green tips, this is my favorite birdsnest in my tank. 2 frags available about 1" each $10 Call Jake at 503-330-4772
  13. I have a fish trap that you can borrow. I have caught my yellow tang twice with it. It can be a bit of a pain but it has worked for me within an hour everytime that I have used it. You can call me if you want it. Jake at 503-330-4772.
  14. Its your call buddy, but I would suggest you take the time to actually visit a few of the good stores in Portland. You might find some nice stuff. Hell, it might even be cheaper than the flight to SoCal.
  15. Hey CA2OR. Rather than buy all the junk up here, you should hook us up with some of those amazing and cheap SoCal corals. What can you get for me?
