  1. all frags sold for the moment. I will repost another thread with availability once these sales go through. If anything falls through I will post. Thank you for the interest.
  2. Most of this is sold. Still have 1 purple polyp stylo #1, and 1 peach birdsnest #2. Once these are cleared out I will have a new round of frags. If you really want something send me a PM as I may be able to frag a few more. Thanks.
  3. I have some frags for sale. Also willing to frag other things in my tank so if you come over to buy something and you see something you like I will make a frag if I can. Photos are of the mother colonies 1. Thick branch stylo, purple with greenish tips: This is 1 of my favorite corals in my tank. The colors are not that dramatic but I have never seen another coral like this one. The branches are huge when mature, they are thicker than a grown mans thumb. This coral has purple polyps with green tips under high light. Not getting a lot of light in my tank but you can see the color nonetheless in the photos. The first photo is a top down shot capturing the true color, the 2nd is from outside the tank so you can get a better idea of the actual shape of the growth. I have several frags available from $20 to $10. $20 for about a 2" frag in a "Y" shaped pattern down to $10 for about a 1" frag from the bottom of the colony that wasn't getting much light so the color is not as nice, but it will color up as soon as it starts to grow. 2. Peach with green tips birdsnest: a fairly common coral but still my favorite birdsnest, 2 available from 3/4" to 1", $5 each 3. Green Rufus with blue tips: gets more blue in the body under high light. 2 available, about 1" each for $5 4. purple polyp birdsnest, 1 available 1.5" $10 5. Jedi Mind trick monti: green base with red polyps and a very bright blue rim when it starts to grow. 1/2" round frag starting to grow (fragged about 3 weeks ago) $25 6. Superman Monti: this one is small about 3/8" but the price is cheap $10 7. Pokerstar Montipora: 1 available, about 1" $25 8. Sunset montipora: I have a couple of frags available, they are small about 1/2" but cheap at $20 I have many other SPS I will frag if you see something that you like in my tank. Looking to get rid of these fast so first come first serve with cash. Call Jake 503-330-4772.
  4. I just sympathize with business owners in general. I have owned my own businesses that has been successful and failed and the risk and consequences of failure are not fun. Profit is the only way to keep the doors open. These guys aren't forcing anybody to buy from them.
  5. Bottom line is that running a business is hard and involves risk on behalf of the business owner. You guys deserve to make as much profit as you can. If you don't like the cost of an item than don't buy it. If somebody can buy an item for $10 and sell it for $200, good for them. I don't see much to argue about here.
  6. The chalice is pending. My apologies to anybody else who had interest. If it falls through I will repost. Thank you.
  7. I know the price is expensive but that is exactly what I paid and these chalices can get pricey. It is pretty big so it could definitely be fragged if somebody wanted to recoup some of their money. It has grown down over a piece of rock, if it was a flat piece it would be over 4" X 4".
  8. I have this red chalice colony for sale. I bought it from a guy in Seattle. It was sold to me as an unnamed Watermelon chalice. Call it whatever you want. I am done with chalices as they don't seem to do well with the light in my tank. The colony is about 3.5" round. When I first got it it had fairly bright pink eyes. As you can see from the photo it still has a small hint of pink in the eyes but it has faded a lot. Maybe somebody who is better at keeping LPS can get the color to come back? It has a nice flourescent green edge on the new growth. This edge only currently exists on about half of the circumference of the coral because the other half is not getting any light where it sits in my tank. I paid $175 and would sell it local for that price. If you want it let me know by Saturday afternoon as it goes to reefcentral if nobody wants it around here. Call 503-330-4772. Call me as late as you want.
  9. This pack is still available but it has been posted on reefcentral as well. I only have 1 so it will be first come first serve. If any locals want it please let me know soon. Thanks.
  10. I have a frag pack available of 10 SPS frags for $125 if anybody wants it. I am sorry but I don't want to split it up. If somebody wants all of them it is yours. Please respond by Wednesday if you want it or it goes to reefcentral. Details below. Pictures are of the mother colonies. These are fragged and ready to go anytime. The frags are small but that is why the price is so cheap. I paid $90 online for a 1/2" frag of the ATL strawberry milli alone. Call Jake at 503-330-4772. It you want the pack a call is better than a PM because I may not be around my computer today. ORA Green Birdsnest 1" frag with 3 branches Ponape birdsnest 3/4" with 2 branches Atlantis Strawberry Milli 1/2" with 2 branches, this one is small but very nice color Palmers blue milli 1" with a few branches Pink Milli 1" with 2 branches Pokerstar Montipora 1" beginning to encrust on a disc Montipora Setosa: about 3/8" frag Blue Slimer 1" single branch Purple milli with blue tips 1/2", this is a bad photo but the best that I can do. It looks very different in person, sorry. Orange Monti digitata 2" with several branches
  11. I have had a lot of interest and I am working out several trades right now. Several of the items are now pending. I will be fragging tomorrow and figure out what I have left and repost. Thank you everybody. If you contact me today it will take me a couple of days to get back to you until I figure out what I have left.
  12. Kung Fu: Contact me in August and you are welcome to come over. Thanks.
  13. Jason: Yes, the birdsnest in my photo is the same one from the atlantis website that you provided the link to. It looks nothing like the atlantis photo in my tank. Even when it first arrived it really had very little pink in it at all. I still like the coral but it doesn't look nearly as good as their photo.
  14. Please excuse my misplacing of the word "collective" with "collectible" in the title line, I can't figure out how to edit it. The following are colonies from my tank that I can frag if anybody has something to trade with me. Frag sizes will depend on the trade and what I have available. I am mostly looking for collectible zoas and palys but would consider anything except chalices. If you see something you like I am also willing to sell frags if you don't have something or don't want to trade. Sorry to be non-specific about what I am looking for but send me photos if you have something. Some of these I have multiple frags available and others I have only 1. Trades don't have to be 1 piece for 1 piece, if you have something very collectible we can work out a multiple frags for single frag trade. Let me know. #1 Crayola Plano table #2 Blue Slimer Stag #3 Red monti digi #4 Green with purple rim cap #5 Atlantis Green with purple polyp birdsnest #6 Green with blue tip rufus #7 Green with purple tip acro (table coral I think) #8 Pink Milli #9 Purple with blue tip milli #10 Bali Tri-color #11 Rose Milli #12 Green Milli #13 Palmers Blue Milli #14 Montipora Setosa #15 Green Acro #16 ORA birds of paradise #17 Ponape Birdsnest #18 Green Stylo #19 ORA green birdsnest #20 Peach birdsnest with green tips #21 Yellow skirt zoa with light blue body and peach centers #22 Superman montipora #23 Ring of fire zoa #24 Yellow with purple center Japanese zoas #25 orange with purple center japanese zoa #26 orange green and blue japanese zoa #27 bright orange skirt japanese zoa #28 pokerstar montipora #29 Jedi mind trick monti (very bright blue edge, my favorite monti in my tank)
  15. I have a decent sized blueberry alien eye chalice that I bought from Isaac and have been growing for awhile. I am asking $150. It is about 1.75" X 1". It has 4 main eyes and about 5-6 baby eyes forming. I recently sold a piece 1/3 this size on reefcentral for $125. This piece is fraggable so you could probably frag a piece and get some of your money back. I would like it sold by this weekend. If not it goes to reef central. Sorry for the poor photo, its purple in the center with florescent green eyes and rim. Call Jake 503-330-4772
  16. I also have a few used 250W 10K bulbs that have 6 months on them. You can have all 3 if you want them. I apologize but I don't know the brand.
  17. I know I am not really into chalices too much but I am going to hold on to this one and see what it looks like. Thanks again Perry, I really appreciate the free frag.
  18. I finally got around to checking out Ocean in a Box last week and I am extremely glad that I did. Perry has some amazing coral that I have never seen anywhere else. Great selection and his prices were very fair. I would suggest taking the tour if you have not yet.
  19. Pack is sold, thank you. The nuclear greens are all gone but I could make 1 more frag of any of the rest. If anybody is interested in buying a few frags let me know which ones you like and we could work something out.
  20. I have the following frag pack for sale. The first 4 don't have names that I know of. They are the Japanese deep water zoas. I paid a lot of money for these so I can't let them go at fire sale prices, but this is still a lot less than you would pay online. I am asking $200. If there is no interest locally within a day or so they will go for sale on reefcentral. Thanks and call 503-330-4772 if interested. #1: 3 polyp frag #2: 7 polyp frag #3: 8 polyp frag Another photo #4: 8 polyp frag #5: Bali Safecracker 4 polyps #6: True purple people eater 1 polyp #7: Rainbow Paly, 1 polyp #8: Ring of Fire: 6 polyps #9: Nuclear greens: this photo of actual frag, 8 polyps
  21. It is sold. Sorry everybody that contacted me. I was unavailable by phone most of the day and 1 person contacted me first thing last night. Thank you for your interest.
  22. I have a large rose bubble tip anemone for sale. It was stinging one of my corals so I have decided to get rid of it. I pulled it out of my tank and have it in a container in my sump. For this reason I need it gone this weekend. I don't have a photo of it so I am trying to offer it cheap to get it gone. I want $40 for it. I bought it for 3 times that much from waves a few months ago. Must pick up this weekend. It is about 6" when contracted and probably 10" when it is fully open. Call 503-330-4772.
  23. I have a small Niger in my 180 and he is a model citizen. He does not touch any small fish of which there are many in my tank and I have never seen him go after any inverts either. I introduced him last in my tank and he even lived peacefully with 2 cleaner shrimp and several tiny anemone shrimp for about a year. I think with a little luck, if introduced last you would have a decent chance of having a peaceful fish. I also agree with Bob that I think a 90 is too small. I know it sucks but even if you got a small one I don't think it would be happy in a 90 for very long. Just one mans opinion.
