I picked one of these up for my mother and father in-law for xmas and it is a good TV for the price. My son has had one for 3 years now and has not had any issues out of it. If you get a universal remote you might have problems finding the remote codes but other than that I have had no issues with ours. Also Visio guarantees no dead pixels. (rock2)

I don’t see myself upgrading this tank anytime soon. As far as what I need. I am not sure DOH! . My initial thoughts are lighting, pumps, fans, skimmer, and power heads and monitor temp, ect. This is going to be my first attempt at SPS coral and maybe one small clam so I want to set this system up right and make sure I have all the necessary items to make this successful and not just put a tank together just to say I have one. Thanks again for all your feedback and time.

I have pre ordered a cad light pro tank. I am looking to put a controller / monitor on this tank I don’t have any experience with them so I thought I would get your opinions / recommendations. I have taken a look at the Reef keeper and the AC Jr. and they both look good however not knowing anything about them I don’t want to purchase one just to find out I overlooked one important fact about the unit. Are you running SE or HQI and what spectrum bulb? Do you like your Electronic Ballast or would you stick with a Magnetic? Mike

My first choice is Radium my second choice would be XM. I also think I'm leaning towards the 15k spectrum.

I have not purchased any MH’s as of yet. My tank is a 65G (36Lx24Hx18D) I was originally going to put 1 250MH and run 2x 36” T5s but the more I think about it I think I’m going to run 2x250MH and 2 to 4 T5s. Ok I have been looking around and it appears that a few manufactures make the Luminarc reflectors. Is one better than others (I understand that this is probable a matter of opinion) but still worth asking. The main reason I ask is I have seen some web sites state “Don’t be fooled by cheap China reflectors” This got me wondering if all Luminarc reflectors are the same or is this a marketing scheme. Anyhow after thinking about this for awhile I thought I would ask some local people. Thanks in advance, Mike

Welcome Benny, If you are anything like me and many of the others here I think we live here. Speaking from experience I know that I am here at least 8 hours a day 5 days a week :-) looking at new posts and reading the welth of info and sometimes rereading.
