Probably not enough to worry about, I put 1 capful of bleach into a 7 gal bucket of tap water. Throw a few socks in there over weeks then rinse them inside/outside with the hose. After I get all 10 or so hanging I run them thru the washer twice, no soap. clean as a whistle no smell nice and white, just once a month or two chore.

It's to bad we lost our tank threads after the site issues, oh well things happen. I missing everything back to 9/4/2012 so it's a big jump forward in time. My last lighting change was Feb 2013 when went to three IT2080 leds from Ocean revive, I added a fourth shortly after to get better coverage, now apparently I'm bored so was looking at some of the new lights out there. I saw the Arctic-T247 at Cuttlefish so I bought two to see if I could fit them in or maybe switch to a whole different layout. The 2080's are 8.5" so on 3' front to back that leaves 6"-5"-6" on the 34" rack, When measuring with a par meter there is quite a drop between the lights so I thought I would fill the space. The right is the current set up , the left is with the two Arctics added, looks a little over kill but it's 100% coverage. The 2080's are 18" form the top of the tank (19.75" from the water) the par at 7" depth is 350ish the settings are 100% blue-40% white. The arctics had to be reduced to 60% blue and 10% white to match and they are still 400+ on the par meter at the same depth. another angle Now I'm thinking two rows of the Arctic on each side would be the best, lighter weight for one 76lbs 4-2080s versus 40lbs 8-Arctics. The wattage would be the same but the reduced setting of the Arctics should save some on the electric bill. I'm going to pull them back out for now, I have this habit of making a major change then leaving town, we are leaving next week so I'll work on this when I get back! I don't anything to remove heavy metals but that was what I was interested in seeing. I do the BRS 2 part, have never had to add magnesium its always maintained the 3-1 ratio so I leave it alone. I don't do any trace elements but I have a bottle of Lugos so I should put a few drops in, I forget about those kind of additives so I gave up on them. I have some Sheets of nori that I should feed more regular. I do regular water changes monthly sometimes more often if I get some red algae or just think it could use it.

Thanks for posting this, I love this stuff do AWT twice a year and don't really care what anyone says about it lol. I did have a hard time on the triton site not only did i have to keep selecting English almost every time I changed pages I never did find the test. I finally googled it and found it on the Unique corals site to buy the test. I only tested Ca and P04 before I sent it in, Calcium was 370 (yikes) and Phosphate 0.18 (Hannah) so not bad if P04 drops some as stated in this post. Thanks again for posting this here's mine Note, upped dosing the day i sent in the test, Ca is 420 now and changed media P04 is 0.08 and falling

They work good, it will go off if you put your fingers across the sensor also both sides even the suction cup are sensors so you could lay it on the floor. The suction cup sticks to acrylic but not much else. I was filling a bucket with RO so i just hung it over the side about half way. It has a loud alarm or "alarm music" which came on when I was outside by the garage, I heard it clearly along with my wife!

There have been a few tank overflows lately so I thought I would share theses alarms. I bought one from harbor freight but theses from amazon look a lot better and you can use a power adapter along with batteries. They even come with a lead weight if you need to hang the sensor over the water, I like the contacts on this one, would work well in an overflow or sump.
