  1. This is the last of some things I had lying around $50 or best offer.
  2. I'd be interested in the hawk depending on the size and one of the gobies for sure.
  3. Bought this brand new and ran it in my 120 for about a week then tore my tank down and sold it with my XM's. So it's pretty much brand new. $50
  4. i've had really good success with Arctipods. Mandarins can be tough to get to eat though...
  5. Pump is sold... $400 takes the tank and sump!
  6. Panther I know, I was pretty much ready to set it up after the quick move, then between work and life, everything has just stayed in the quarantine tanks. Now life just has to take precedence over the hobby for now...
  7. I'm surprised there's not much interest... Guess I'll post on RC this afternoon if nobody wants it.
  8. So as of Tuesday I was laid off form my day job so it's time to sacrifice some of my projects and devote a little bit of money towards bills and my new company. One of the main ones being my new tank. Brand new Envision cube, the exact same way it was when I picked it up from James with the paper still on it. 1" thick Rimless Acrylic tank that measures 24x24x18 with rounded and polished front corners, black back and black bottom. External overflow 1" drain with a 3/4" return. Drilled for schedule 80 bulkheads with all 3 bulkheads included with the tank. James gave me an amazing deal on this tank and I'm 100% firm on the price of $450. This what I have into it with the bulkheads. It would cost much more than this to have him build the exact same tank again. Also, used but in excellent condition Gen-X PCX-40 $50 Also, the 7 gallon sump I had planned to use with this tank. I planned on removing the bioballs and running a filter sock, the removable top has some crazing from over tightening the bulkhead but the rest of the sump is in near new condition. $50 If someone want's the tank and sump I'll throw in the pump for free... All three pieces for $500 if you take it all.
  9. I'm still thinking about your other tank but I need a light for my new cube I got from James... Your killing me here! I've been looking for this light for forever now... You should really let me buy it and use your 8 bulb you got from Scott for your frag tank I'll even kick you down a brand new 400w radium bulb just for letting me pick up this light... Yes, I obviously need it that bad LOL.
  10. God [language filter]!!!! Ryan seriously... quit buying up all the **** I need!!!
  11. I can understand wanting to get him out of the 55, really the best thing would be to take this fish to Joel at Waves or another LFS that has a large display tank. Personally I don't think any tang over an inch or so should be in anything less than a 120. It really has nothing to do with the volume of water in your system vs. actual tank size. Tangs are swimmers and they really do need lots of room to swim. You start confining a fish like that and it will either end up drastically shortening their life span or just getting ick over and over from stress.
  12. Jay, not to sound like a dick but a 72 Gallon tank is far too small for a Tang that size. It would actually be cruel to house a fish that size in such a small tank. Kate, hopefully you find this fish a good home where he actually has room to swim, a 55 is near torture. IMHO this fish needs to go to someone with a 6 foot long tank minimum. I hate to sound like the Tang police, I myself have an addiction to Tangs but you really have to think of the animal first in this situation.
  13. I'm pretty sure Tap sells Acrylite... They are probably the most expensive place in town though. Maybe try contacting James and see if he will sell you some?
  14. Eh... I was hoping one of those Teklights were a 24" BUMP for some great deals!
  15. Anthony Calfo or Bob Fenner... That would be awesome!!!
  16. Thank you for the links guys Steve, seeing your temperate tank is actually what made me ever consider taking a new avenue of the hobby, I've been spending a lot of time looking over your coldwater pages. Ever since then it's just been something thats kept my interest although I've never had the tank available... I'm not a diver although I have a few really close friends who are and I've recently been taking to them about getting into it. It's still in the planning stages to really see if its even going to be a wise choice. I'm sure I'll be even more ocd about it on friday when I pick up the new tank though.
  17. After selling my large tank and 98% of my livestock I'm left with three fish and about 30# of live rock sitting in a small tank waiting for their new home. Friday I'm picking up my cube tank from James and it would potentialy make a really awesome cold water tank, so now I'm seriously thinking about giving it a try. From the little I've learned its not a huge change but livestock in the means of fish can be difficult to come across as well as being really expensive. Ie: the beautiful box fish from Steve weasts tank. Any thoughts? Opinions etc? Information about coldwater reefs is nearly impossible to come across so any info or links would be awesome.
  18. ou aren't planning on coming to Portland anytime soon are you? If so I'll take it.
  19. No worries, I just sold my tank and I'm trying to avoid having to buy a nano to house my livestock. I ultimately want a cube and fell in love with yours when I saw it in person. I should of called James on Monday like I had planned... lol As far as the names, its like your rank that comes from how many posts etc... I look forward to seeing that tank stocked up and running!
  20. Eh... I have to say I'm quite depressed, I was really hoping you weren't going to buy it! Guess I'll have to give James a call tomorrow and figure out exactly what its going to cost to build another one cause I need a tank like yesterday! Congrats, that's and absolutely beautiful tank. James is an awesome guy and his work is second to none! Make sure you you post some pics of the build!
  21. I've had great experiences dealing with Doran and Carmen, I'll be buying more things from them once I get a new tank up and running. They are both very good people and a pleasure to work with!
  22. Was this the tank that was for a previous customer that couldn't take that James has almost finished or was this one that you ordered? I talked to him about a specific cube today, but it sounded like it was pretty much spoken for. I'm just curious cause if his friend didn't want it I wanted to take it home. If that's now your tank it's siiick!
  23. SOLD! Now I have the joy of tearing it all down tomorrow... Not looking forward to it to say the least!
  24. Totally off subject but where did you get your cube from? I've been in the market for a 60 gallon cube.
