  2. I definitely can try and get one or two. They are pretty uncommon but I think it might be something that I can do
  3. Colin, I will be if I can justify it. It depends on how much awesomeness I can catch and come back with I am a pretty determined individual, so I don't think it will be too far out of my grasp.
  4. Hello everyone!! I am heading to Hawaii as I type this and wanted to let everyone know that I may not be as easy to get ahold of for the next week and a half. Roger and Josh will be manning the shop so our hours will remain the same. While I am in Hawaii, I will be visiting several suppliers/divers, doing quite a bit of my own collection, and will be having fun exploring as many awesome things as I can! Please don't forget to visit TPA while I am gone for any and all of your reefing needs and show Roger and Josh how much you love having them around They get a kick out of it whenever I give them customer feedback Thanks for your continued patrionage and support while I am out and about enjoying a bit of paradise. See you when I return!!! p.s. If there is any livestock from Hawaii that you have been looking for or would love to add to your tanks, please let Roger or Josh know. I will be hand collecting many items per request and will have the opportunity to hand pick what I cannot myself collect. This is a great opportunity to get some amazing Hawaiian livestock, straight from the source! p.s.s. On Saturday there will be a VERY RARE Sunlight Supply Blowout happening at the shop!!! There will be a Sunlight Supply Semi-Truck loaded to the brim with awesome blow-out specials of some pretty amazing products. Lighting fixtures, replacement lamps, foods, LED FIXTURES(AI SOL's and Controller at crazy prices), etc. will be available. I will be sure to get you all more details as Saturday approaches but this is sort of a spur of the moment, insanely rediculous blowout sale, so it will definitely be the time to save big on some premium equipment. Much of this will be available to you at prices that are at my cost or even below in many cases.
  5. Wrasses can be hit or miss. Most fairy and flasher wrasses are going to be 99% invert safe while utility wrasses such as six-lines, eight lines, Mystery, Christmas, melanarus, leopard, coris, seagrass wrasse, etc are reef safe but can pick on inverts from time to time. There are model citizens of each kind of utility wrasse that will be perfectly invert safe, others that will only pick on certain kinds of inverts, and others that will rid your tank of pretty much all invertebrate life with the exception of corals. The Seagrass Wrasse is just so uncommon in the hobby that it is hard to put a general rule on them. From what I have had in at the shop, I would say they are reef safe and invert safe with caution as I have seen them pick at a hermit on occassion. That's definitely not to say that any one particular individual might not be an invert demolisher or an angel.
  6. ^^^ I agree with Smann. We use all black now at the store and have for the past year. It really is nice not having crazy algae growth on the eggcrate plus corals just look nicer on black than on white IMO. We have it available by the sheet and half sheet at the shop as well if needed.
  7. It looks like your frag tank is doing exactly what it should be at this stage of the cycle. Just like with any aquarium, your frag tank is cycling. If it is plumbed in to your display, then you are just cycling the tank and equipment surfaces of the newly added frag tank. After the multiple types of bactia establish themselves, then you should start to move through the brown phase into the green phase, and then continue on through the cycle. I added sand to some of my tanks in the shop and sure enough, even though the tanks were all cycled, the sand still need to establish itself in the system and build up bacteria. It now has a nice brown diatom layer that should disapear shortly. By the way, that tank looks mighty familiar
  8. I would try and be more specific about what type of red brain you are looking for. There are dozens of brain coral species that come in red colors from Wellsys and Trachtys, to War Corals, Favias, Lobos, Cyanarinas, etc. I will say that red colors definitely tend to fetch a higher price. We do have some nice red favia and war coral frags in that price range but I haven't seen any of the larger pieces or open brains going for that. A red donut(Acanthophylia, Scolymia, or Cyanarina) is going to fetch $90+ in general, most being closer to the $125+ range.
  9. Stay cool! Come down to the perfectly temperature controlled environment that is TPA!!! We got in some really nice fish and inverts from all over the world.
  10. They are MAP priced so I have to sell them at the standard retail price. Awesome pumps that are totally worth it though they are spendy.
  11. I have several at the shop that I will trade you. If interested toss me a pm.
  12. Doing an echotech order tomorrow. If you would like in, let me know. Payment would have to me made upfront and there is a week turn around time. I accept all major credit cards over the phone or if you want to swing by the shop thg works too.
  13. I got alot of rare things for you guys also. Quit cyberbullying me!!!! My feelings are hurt(nono) This is Roger talking
  14. It's a super nice tank for the $$. Made by a very reputable builder. Zach takes good care of his stuff too.
  15. Zach's tank is awesome! If you end up deciding to go with a biocube, we have a 29g in at The Premium Aquarium. Let me know if you have any questions or just swing by the shop.
  16. Sorry Beth, I am not finding these anywhere. My vendor for Vertex products said that they have discontinued carrying their skimmers/pumps.
  17. That is one of the nicest morphs out there! Great snag and it looks killer already in your tank!
  18. Glad to hear it buddy! That's one heck of a nice fish you got there.
  19. Bumping this up for the weekend croud. This will be the last weekend of the invert packages. Come by and check out all of the awesomeness at TPA.
  20. The Marbled Cat Shark is another decent decision. We just sold one that we have had for at least 3 months. Ate like a pig and did super well in a 180 shallow tank. Awesome fish that only gets to around 29" max. I would think at that size a larger tank would be necessary but as a juvenile they could do quite well in a 210.
  21. I would rinse it in saltwater just to be safe. That way stuff lives and you get an junk out.
  22. Looking great Thomas! Glad to see everything made it home alive and well.
  23. Thanks Trent! I am glad that you ended up making it by after all. You picked up an awesome piece
