  1. I had a request for additional pictures of the colt coral. I recently cleaned the glass so I disturbed the coral a little so the polyps are retracted a little.
  2. Large piece of briaerum pending, everything else is still available.
  3. I might be willing to part with this table Acro mille that is metallic blue with pink tips. It is probably 10" x 6" or more but I'm not sure how I would get it off of the rock that it is attached to. Let me know if you have any interest. I also have another piece that is around 6" x 3".
  4. No hurry. I'll hang on to it until you are in the area. I would be interested in almost any of those. Let me know what you think is fair.
  5. I'm mostly looking for sps frags but am willing to listen to whatever you have. Didn't we trade for some of this at Steve's a while back?
  6. Here is another picture of the anemone and the Briareum.
  7. I have 3 Magnificas (Ritteri) and need to sell one of them. This has been in my tank for a year and a half and was in another tank for over a year before that. Many people think that these are very difficult to keep and that finding a healthy one is key to their survival, so here is a chance to obtain a very healthy specimen. I would like to get $50.00 for it. I also have a large colony of electric green Briareum. This is similar to green star polyps but is grows on twisting/corkscrew branches. The main chunk is attached to a piece of live rock and the branches trail off of that. It is close to 12" in length and the main part is about the size of a large grapefruit. $30.00 White pom/pom Xenia 3.5" multiple stalks. $20.00 Branching frogspawn 7 heads $20.00. Colt Coral multiple stalks 8" x 5" attached to piece of live rock. $25.00 Orange Digi frag 2" multiple branches $15.00 I can also frag pieces of the Briareum and single stalks of Xenia for $5.00. I will consider trades for all items. Thanks for looking.
  8. It looks like bright orange digitata with multiple braches. Next time I take some pictures of my tank I'll send you one of this piece. It may be a while though.
  9. I've got a 2-3" piece with multiple branches for cheap here in OC. Interested in trade also.
  10. I called and left a message. Never heard back.
  11. Hey Mike, Have you had any problems with the Mag and the carpets in the same tank. I have 3 Mags and I cannot seem to keep any other type of anemones in the tank with them. Do you run carbon? Very nice looking anemones by the way.
  12. Thanks everyone. I picked some up from Calvin, Dennis and Miles so I think I'm good on the cap. If anyone has some unique digi, let me know.
  13. I'm looking for some frags of both Montipora Cap and Montipora Digitata. Any color other than purple for the cap and something other than green, orange or purple for the digitata. I can either buy or trade with frags of mine. Thanks.
  14. I'll take a frag of the green monti and the monti danae. If you remember, I'm in OC and can pickup most anytime. Thanks.
  15. That is an awesome price for a healthy Magnifica. If I didn't already have two of them I'd be all over that. You won't have any problem finding a home for it, and if for some reason you do, let me know and I'm sure I could find a place for it.
  16. Just let me know what you want to do. I will be around on Friday and you're more than welcome to stop by, or I will ship them to you.
  17. Actually an HQI ballast is meant to run HQI rated bulbs. All DE bulbs are HQI rated as far as I know, but there are a lot of SE bulbs that are also HQI rated. Radiums, Ushio, AB, Aqua Connect are all SE bulbs that are meant to be fired on HQI ballasts. I have also read a lot about the shorter life span of non-HQI SE bulbs but I have not experienced it myself. Edit: I'm talking 250w bulbs. I'm not sure about ballast bulb combos on other wattages.
  18. Finch, Since were both in Oregon City, you are welcome to come over and check out my lights. I currently have one Radium flanked by two XM 10k bulbs but can change out the XM's for an older radium and some other 20k so you can get an idea of what to expect. Also, you do not need any additional shielding with any of the single ended bulbs and the 250's are bluer than the 400's on HQI ballasts.
  19. I'm using a dual Sunlight Supply M80 and a single PFO M80 ballast. Both of these are non-electronic, true magnetic HQI ballasts.
  20. I have a very well used Radium and a Helios 20k that you could borrow. I keep them around so I can vary the look of my tank once in a while but you could try them out and then return them.
  21. I run 3 SE bulbs on 250w HQI ballasts. I have run Radiums, Coralvues, XM, Aqua Connect, Helios, Hamiltons and probably several others. I have only had problems with the Hamilton 14k, it cracked at only 1.5 months use. I have not had any problems with color shifting even on the non-HQI rated bulbs. I just recently put back in an XM 10K that has 18 months of use on it. It doesn't visually look any different than my 4 month old XM. BTW, Radiums do look very nice on this ballast.
  22. Thanks. I saw those but was just checking to see if a member had one in need of a new home or if one of our sponsors has one. If not, I'm off to Animal House.
  23. Just looking to see if anyone has a large yellow tang that needs a new home or if you have seen any at an LFS. Thanks.
