  5. This sounds like a support group thread LOL.. "Hello I'm Fred, and I copper treated my fish in my tank. "Hi Fred " The first part to recovery ....... ect.. ect.. etc.(laugh)
  6. I've mounted an acrylic box inside my sump and drilled a hole in the euro brace just above the box. Next threaded a john guest fitting and shoved the efflient tube into it and let it drip in to the box with phos media in a bag. Quick and easy way to fix that problem. BTW this was an idea I got from izzypop, after he did this method to his tank, his phosphates got down to .001 ppm.
  7. Oh yea! The Reeflo Orca!!. Great choice Joel. I Have the 200 and the 250 model and they are crazy good. They are the skimmer of choice if you need raw horse power! IMO The in sump skimmers use little baby pumps and a little piece of sand could spell disaster buy jambing the impeller at that point where's the savings. The 250 took some tweaking though...the hieght of the pvc return to the sump was to short and I had to modify some PVC to make it taller(careful, all the plumbing is metric). The problem was, the water level was to low in the skimmer and it wasn't skimming 100%. I tried twisting the riser tube to close it up to raise the water level but found the skimmer over flowing. I scratch my head at that for awhile. Did some investigating and izzypop found a dude on RC that was making different collection cups so they didn't over flow, but they're 250.00. (crap) I wasent going to spend more money on something that should already work, so I thought RAISE THE TUBE! and it worked. that skimmer rocks. Oh one more thing...The riser tube pieces are not O ringed so your glueing like your typical pvc...Nope I would not glue. Izzy turned me on to liquid tephlon that stuff is the snizzzz..all you do is put a dab on your finger and wipe around both pieces and fit them together and there sealed nicely and no leaks! Now if you have to take it apart you can. You can get that liqiud tephlon at Lowes or HD in there metal piping area.

The one thing I don't like, is that you can't make upgrades to your car until you pass level C ,B , A. Games prior you could hop up your car, tune the suspension, and engine as you played. I'm stuck on one level because my crappy car, that is box stock, dosent have enough umph to get up the hill's. But i will say..the graphics are awesome one PS3.
  13. All I have to say is WOW! You and Brian have been busy. Looks really good. Can't wait to see it in person.
  14. Kevinmc, If you still need an extra tank, I have 4-50 gallon tru view aqrylic tanks. You can borrow one if you want and return it when your done. PM me if you interested. BTW I'm going to Medford this weekend and won't be back till Sunday night.
  15. here's a link.. http://www.pfolighting.com/AqPendants.aspx
  16. off the top of my head...PFO includes glass. No biggie. I would think they would include the glass, dosent mean theydo. Do you carry the glass?
  17. I don't plan on cleaning the intake screen. It will be buried in rock. I think that the pendants should come with glass (IMO) for the price. Other companies (in that price range) include glass with there pendants. I havent called Sam yet, but I'll get it work out some how. My bad though, for not looking into it a little futher. It should have dawned on me that a little water splash can crack a bulb and distroy my hole tank because UV nukeing my corals..DOH!
  18. Yea good point. Other pendants do. I'll check with Sam.
  19. Do you guy's have glass for those pendants?
  20. Thanks everyone for the nice comments. Chewie: It was such a nice day Sunday, that my wife had a long honey due list for me. I couldn't tell her "Not Today" after she allowed time for me to finish my system. Sorry I wasn't able to make it, next time for sure.
  21. Well...LIGHTS! WATER! ACTION! My new relectors are the Lumen Max 2's and they rock! Check it out and tell me what you think. Lumen Max 2's with coral view 20k bulb's driven by Sunlight Supplies HQI ballasts wired 240 volt. Supplment lighting 4/VHO's driven driven by Ice Cap 660. http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g262/thereefspot/DSC_0018Medium.jpg[/img]"] Now all I need is fish (scratch)
