Miles, That is very frustrating. Nothing worse than someone telling you I'll be there and no one show(flame) No excuses for them(outside a family emergency)if they couldn't be around then they need to make arrangements with you to meet someone else or another time.

That woodwork is some of the best I've seen! Nice job. Oh and the tank's not bad either.(laugh)

Slow down the flow that returns to the sump. Gate valve the return and will silence the thing for sure. The down side is keeping little snails out of the tube, so you may want to put one of those coarse foam wraps around the end of your J tube.

To be perfectly honest...I threw it out and kilmca ended up with it for for driving up and getting it, no questions asked. I don't have time to take a picture of everything I want to get rid of. Thanks Calvin.

sump I've alway's used a simple sump with filter socks or pads. Never seen the need for Bio Balls. If you have enough live rock in your tank, you don't need Bio Balls. I have a sump I could sell you pretty cheap that would probably work for you...If you need one let me know, and I'll get you the diminsions. (sump is in storage).

I threw it out...more hassle than what it was worth.
