yea I've got one too I just never tested them against each other. don't have a beer stage yet I can test on. I'll test it out in a couple weeks. Just thought someone here might have already done it and had the answers. We can work something out to come over. Give me a couple weeks things are kinda crazy right now. PM me first week of October and you can come over and check it out, I'll even clean the glass for you . I've been meaning to get some pics up here but haven't had the time.

I'm going to test my refractometer against my brewing hydrometer and see what happens. I ended up just ordering a brix/alcohol refractometer. we'll see on the SG.

Hey any wine and beer makers out there? Do our refractometers measure specific gravity the same as the ones for home brewing? Also is there a conversion formula to Brix I can use as well or do I need to buy the Brix Refractometer? Doing beer and wine this year and will be my first attempt at wine.

cool wrasse mine just died after having him for 2 years and it is the one fish I will replace. They are one of my favorite fish. I have had some success with pipefish and have some blue stripes in my reef now for a few months. They do fine but the dragons are my favorite by far. good luck with them. Good deal on the frags I'm glad they're doing well for ya.

If you really wanted something you would PM your favorite LFS and they would order it for you. I've done this before with success. Whether or not you actually buy it is another topic... Good thought though....

It was okay and there was some nice stuff that people snagged the first hour but it was an sps event. I got a really cool lillypad monti from AExotics that I've never seen before and won two raffles. A sump and Tyree cyphastrea. For what it was it was cool and neat to see something new come to town. UPSCALES put the CFM to shame though.... in selection and price hands down but it was fun and I don't regret buying a ticket.

The feeding tents are out all the time well at least by the time I get home. That is the only pic I have. It looks just like the pic 20+ polyps. Kept under 400w 20k halides.

I have this micromussa I bought a while ago that I am willing to sell. This pic is from exactly 1 year ago so it is bigger but looks the same. Little smaller than a golf ball and it grew completely round. Every inch of it has polyps on it. I'm not going to frag it up right now but if someone wants a nice rare limited coral here is your chance at a great deal. $160 firm as you can see these go for big money. I'm not holding this coral.
