  6. Lastly, I want to apologize to the folks that have emailed me. I have received a few emails but have been on the road. I flew into Denver last night, I hired someone for the central portion of the country today, I leave tomorrow for tradeshow prep tomorrow and Friday, tradeshow this weekend etc etc. I want to review everyone’s emails carefully, and I’ve been too distracted with the situation. I’m not ignoring you! Just waiting until I am not distracted.
  7. This is correct, it was an oversite but we missed the deadline. You will see us back up in no time once we get squared away again.
  8. Actually Sunlight Supply has a very strict rule regarding drug use etc. We do not market to "that crowd" including magazines that are directly marketing to illicit use. If our customers inform us they intend to use the products we sell for illegal activity we will not sell to them. You wont find pot leaves on products at Sunlight Supply etc. Lets please not turn this thread into a debate on this topic, if you'd like to start a different one your welcomed to, but I really want to keep this thread about the opportunity at hand. I do not know where the Sunlight Supply forum went, otherwise I would have posted this in that section. That's yet another topic itself.

  10. Sold paid.. thanks Jimmy!
  11. I have my CO2 Reg up for sale. I got a demo from a vendor Im trying so I dont need my milwaukee. $50 takes it. In perfect working order. (I turned the bubble counter upside down to help reduce the chance of getting saltwater inside the reg. I can flip it back over if you need) joel
  12. OK, its just a verbage thing. The seal is not a bearing at all, its actually two ceramic rings that slide against each other, thats what makes the seal. There is a spring that keeps constant pressure on the two pieces of ceramic to make it hold water tight. Are you sure you never ran the pump dry? Runnign the pump dry for more than a few seconds will heat these ceramic rings to the point of failure very quickly. The bearings are on the motor/dry end.
  13. Something doesnt sound right here... IF the bearings went bad, why would that put water on your floor? The wet end would still be sealed regardless of the status of the bearings. Ive literally sold hundreds of these pumps, and I have never had something like that happen. What model motor where you having issues with? I do feel the Gold upgrade is worth every penny!
  14. Ive got a 7 year old dart gold Ive never cleaned, changed bearings or seal. Its probably due Its so old its back when they used clear blue plastic on the volute, not that you can see in after a weeks worth of sludge builds up inside. I run 3 dart golds on my system.
  15. I guess you would call it that, more like Authorized Distributor. I work for Sunlight Supply and we distribute Reeflo pumps. I dont sell direct to end users, I only sell to stores.
  16. Glad to hear! I knew they would take care of you
  17. Man you had me all excited, I was ready to pay top dollar for a zoa eating conch. If anyone has sundials Ill take em, i have a couple polyps here and there that need to be eatten before they take over the world.
  18. I would send it back to Reeflo. Depending on the age it may be under warrantee (they have a 3 year warrantee). If not, they will replace the bearings for a nominal cost. They have excellent customer service, I would use it! Ed, you can also get new volutes for the front. I did a lot of business with Reeflo and they would usually send me these for free. Give them a call Im sure they will ship one pretty inexpensive (since you dont have a long history with them).
  19. very few SPS are wild anymore, most frags or maricultured. At my time owning Waves I think I only brought in maybe 20 true wild SPS pieces.
  20. We have them here in stock in Vancouver, so you may as well buy it locally and get it quick!
  21. Why wouldnt you do it with a dry tank? Stacking rock in an empty tank works the best anyway, because if rocks are stable in an empty tank, Im sure they are in a full tank. Anyone with that size tank should have the resources to at least fill the tank half way immediatly (with tubs, tanks, friends, stores whatever) usually thats enough to cover the rock while you make more RO. Or at least you can setup a pump to "spray" the raised rock. anyway,,,, you'll never see me doing that in a 300 gallon, would need to be 700+ to make sense IMO. even then Id probably borrow a make up tank from the LFS to make it happen in one day.
