jsw
The stand was built by Scott (aka spectra) and the tank by Envision acrylics. I'm really excited about this new build. I'll let the pictures do the talking: I'll have this plumbed in the next couple weeks.
Sol
Very cool. I like that the light rack is cold connected instead of welded so it's adjustable. -Sol
spectra
Shoot that was quick(laugh) Just delivered it last night to you did not take long to get the starboard for it. Glad you like it and need to see the tank with some rock and corals in it:D

vanz
That is some professional work there. Are you going to put a skin to hide the stand or leave it exposed?

darrellw
Nice setup! I'm diggin the light mount. I'm setting up almost the same thing From James. LOL +1 on the setup and light mount! I was pretty much set on getting a Solana, but pantherguy's and this thread have me rethinking. I will be watching both very closely! -Darrell
spectra
Let me kow if you guys want some help on a mount. Not that hard to make and it worked out really well. I would love to see if this tank is together or not but have not heard from JSW in a while.
darrellw
Let me kow if you guys want some help on a mount. Not that hard to make and it worked out really well. I would love to see if this tank is together or not but have not heard from JSW in a while. Will do. I've been thinking of how I could put something together from conduit, but no way it would looks a trick, or be as solid as what you put together. -Darrell

jsw
I thought you fell off the earth(laugh) Glad to see it with water in it(rock2) I know. Finally! I had the tank made in 2007. The time is right now I guess. Just waiting for the cycle to finish... I think is going to shape up nicely.
jsw
Still need to clean off the tank a bit and wire the light back through the hanger, but the tests are showing the cycle is finished. It's at 3 weeks now with partial cuc and a little diatom growth.
