This is an odd situation...I have a friend who is putting in a new hardwood floor and a granite slab for a fireplace hearth. Well, the wood floor framing around the fireplace hearth wasn't perfectly square, so when he put the granite slab in place it didn't quite sit flat, but now it's stuck in place and he can't get it out to fix the wood framing around it. I think we can use suction cups to lift it out, trim the wood to fit properly, then drop the granite back into place to sit flat. The granite slab weighs about 250 lbs, so not much more than an average reef tank. I'm sure a pair of suction cups would do the job. If anyone has a set to loan for a day, I'd greatly appreciate it.
