reefnjunkie
I have no idea what these are and they are hard to get a picture of They are little “bubbles” the size is a little smaller than a BB and they all seem connected by a strand of something and I’d say I have a few hundred. These are in a frag tank I’ve not really had anything in other than a few mushrooms for about 10 days. This frag tank is tied into my main system and I did have my snails spawn a few weeks ago. Any help is much appreciated
jtarmitage
Being connected like that, I'd lean towards hydroids, but that doesnt look like any I've seen before.
reefnjunkie
Not like any hydroids a I’ve seen or my friend Google has seen either Closest I found was Nassarius but I have none of them in that tank. The tank hasn’t had anything really in it other than some Trochus I moved in from my QT. Trochus eggs would be my guess since my Trochus breed/spawn faster than most rabbits. I’m sure that’s what they “were” Ive had enough surprises for a decade or so and since the tank wasn’t holding anything I just siphoned out the water and it’s back off line. Probably paranoid (absolutely paranoid die to past experiences) since I have no pest and really nothing “unwanted”............ That I know of 😳 It'll forever be a mystery

TaylorW
Do you have Cerith snails? They look like Cerith snail eggs, I have some Dwarf Cerith snails breeding in one of my tanks and the eggs look like that. There's no predators in that tank so those little suckers are everywhere, constantly pulling out dozens from the filter socks. BTW, anyone want some snails lol Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
