jayR
Looking to have a LFS special order a 210 gallon (72X24X29) or 240 gallon (72X24X31) reef tank. Any suggestions on which stores sells them for a reasonable price? This will be used for an InWall Reef Tank. Thanks in advance, Jay R
reefgeek84
I would not buy from a store, I would call James at envision acyclics and get him to build you one...You will not see a better made tank. He is a sponsor on this board as well...
chewie
If you're looking for a glass tank, try Saltwater Fanta-seas. They're also a site sponsor and a great LFS. If going the acrylic route, James @ Envision Acrylics is THE best. Hands down.
jayR
Thanks for the quick reply guys. I am planning on glass, do we have any local glass tank builders? Also what stores are worth checking out that has lots of Saltwater Gear? I am new to the area and have not been to any LFS.
Nyles
I am planning a new glass tank as well, but I will be ordering it from aquariumobsessed.com nice tanks, I believe Joel's new tank is from there as well. You can't beat starphire glass.

I would only go with starfire glass on any glass tank...You will pay more, but be happier in the long run...
jayR
I was thinking of starphire and might go that route. I prefer to go with a local builder though.
jayR
Also, does anybody have any experience of having a reef tank running in the garage? Such as temp fluctuations during the cold winter months? The summer is pretty mild, so I'm mainly worried about the winter months. My garage and garage door are insulated so keeping the garage between 50-60 degrees shouldn't be a problem.
Twitterbait
honestly if you are worried about temperature then you should not go glass. Acrylic insulated 10X better and will help keep it warmer in the winter and with a chiller, cooler in the summer.

Michael7979
I don't believe they make 240's anymore..... might be wrong, heard a rumor.
defigart
It is my belief that a 210 is the largest standard AGA size currently.
