Krux
A recent move has forced me to tear down my last tank, the new apartment just doesn't allow them. I am posting all of this up on RC, but figured a few people may be around that remember what some of this stuff looked like, and may be interested. I have available a 30 gallon oceanic cube tank, with professionally built acrylic sump (it was not using the sump most recently, everything was hob, but sump is available) that i am selling for $100.00 Nice light wood stand and hanging canopy (includes hanging hardware) built by a PNWMAS member (it is high end furniture grade with lots of clearcoat) available for 200.00 I paid 400 for the above listed stuff when I bought the system used, and it was a good deal at that price. Also available is a 250 watt hqi blueline ballast, pendant, and a couple of used, but still fully functional phoenix bulbs. I will part out the components at 125 for the ballast, 75 for the pendant with bulbs, or 175 for the whole rig. I have some small 28 watt actinic pc bulbs and a dual balast, with reflectors will let that setup for for 40. Buy all the lights and you can have it all for 200 even. Selling a Deltec mce600 hob skimmer with outflow upgrade for 400 shipped on RC, for a local buyer to save the hassle of shipping i would do 350. With shipping and the mod they are about 525 new. I have a koralia 1 powerhead, probably not worth buying on its own, but I would sell it for 30 shipped, it only has about 2 month's use on it. buy it with anything else for 25. i have a lot of salt, if you are buying something from me, i will throw some in for free. If my math holds, that about 875 for the whole setup, anyone who has ever seen any of my setups knows that i don't tend to skimp on components, and anyone buying this setup is going to be getting pretty much the best of the best. I will sell the entire setup to someone locally for 750, any less than that and I am going to wait for it to part out either here or on RC. No rocks, no fish, no corals, already have distributed all of that, all thats left is the drygoods. they are sitting in my old apartment now, and will be there until Saturday this week, at which point theyt are going to get boxed up and held until they get shipped. Thanks for looking R1
Michael7979
Ryan has always had really nice good equipment. If you can use any of this stuff, I'm sure it is in great shape and fairly priced.

R-3
Hey Ryan what are the dimensions of the sump? And would you sell it seperately? Thanks
Krux
i can try to get some measurements on it today, need to find a tape measure in the boxes, but it is designed to fit underneath the cube, probably about 20X20X16 or so. and yeah, if you are interested i can part that out. i will get back to you tonight
Cobalt
I moved to Portland from Atlanta recently and the bug has bit again, I might be interested in your whole setup. Do you have any photos?
dsoz
Hey Cobalt, welcome to Portland, and the PNWMAS! Glad to hear that you joined us. I hope that you can get set up and running. Make sure that you start a thread in the members tanks section. Also, you can make a general post to introduce yourself to the rest of us. Kinda like an AA meeting, but only for SW reefers! dsoz
Krux
Unfortunately I do not have any photos of the whole setup, but i have some closeups of a couple things that i took while it was running. Here is a shot of the tank its self, it did indeed sustain life! here is what the de pendant looks like (this is in another canopy) which is mounted in a hanging pendant made of wood that matches the stand. I did not mention that it comes with all of the hanging hardware, all you need is some hooks to put into the ceiling. here is a shot showing the sump, as well as an idea of how the tank was setup before i went with an all hob system. As for why, I had a return pump overheat and nuke my tank, decided to simply remove that variable from the equation. here is what the skimmer looks like hanging off the back of the tank, it can be hung on the sump of someone wanted (borrowed this image from google images) I hope that helps, if you are still interested i can try to get over to where the setup is stored and get some more photos this week. also, want to add that i have a 100 gpd ro/di unit with recently changed cartridges... willing to sell it for 50 bucks including an inline tds meter, or will sell it in with the tank for 25.00. Also have a cpr overflow box (cpr cs100) including a air pump to keep it primed that i will sell for 50 bucks, or will throw in for 25.00 if anyone buys the entire system. that would make it 800 for a near turnkey 30 gallon system. R-3
Anything new on this? Thanks
Krux
Sorry, having connectivity issues in the new apartment. The dimensions of the sump are 18.5X18.5X16.5(high) There is a 3/4" bulkhead for a return pump. The sump is divided in half, designed to have a built in refugium, but I never ran it in that capacity. Hope that helps.
