nelsz3
Thanks guys! I think he is a very interesting fish and very peculiar when he comes out to feed. Doesn't matter if he's out if its not evening time then he wont eat, but very active when lights come on and just before they go out.

Emerald525
Nice fish. I have a Mandarin in the sps tank and is one of my favorite fish. THey are beautiful and they remind me of humming birds the way they move around the tank! Mine is fat and happy as there are plenty of pods in the tank! Jeramy
I would love to have a mandarin. My next tank build will be with a mandarin in mind because I have always wanted to keep one. 9 years ago when I had no clue what I was doin I starved one of these fish to death. So I wont try again until I have the right tank set up so that it can live a long healthy life =) Very nice fish you have looks fat and happy. reefnjunkie
very cool fish, I too have killed one due to ignorance-or the LFS being ignorant to sell it to me-(flame) I am afraid it would not be able to compete against my wrasses for pods so I am afraid I wont be able to get one agian- The fish even had its own Jerry Garcia- Most all of our fish (35 of them) have names-DOH! Very cool fish thats for sure
