Piero
neato! that's really encouraging since long term survival of these animals in captivity seems to be hard to achieve(anyone had success more than a year?). Nine months is still relatively short-term, but a spawning might indicate robust health. I think the difficulty with these animals is providing them adequate nutrition? Do you notice any size difference in 9 months? and what is your feeding regiment? thanks for sharing!
Piero
yeah I'd say that blasto didn't handle shipping 'too' well at all. :P Hope you got a refund!
illcssd
My white coco worm is 3 years old. I find the difficulty in shipping them is making sure you direct phyto at them. I do it about once every 3 days when i feed my clams, i also shoot rotifers at him occasionaly. He was a little guy 9 months ago, he has grown probably an inch, i'm not sure how big they actually get, my white one hasnt grown at all in the time period i have had him. Piero
That's great that you've had such success with them. Very encouraging. It sounds like with some target feeding as you have done they aren't as unsuitable as I thought.

dsoz
Did you give it a cigarette when it was done? That's a lot of work for a little worm... LOL
