k9flash
Hey guys, looking to buy a 55-75g tank to start up. Pre-drilled would also be wonderful. If you know anyone looking to part with a tank let me know. Thanks again for all your help. edit* purchased Reefn's tank. Thanks for all the offers guys. Mods can close this thread if they like. Kimberlee
Maybe I can help. I know of a 55 drilled. Don't know if they are willing to part though. I'll have him PM you if he is.
impur
I have a 75gal reef-ready drilled for closed loop. I'm in the process of selling/moving corals but i hope to have it empty no later than mid-april.
Michael7979
I would say go for a 75g over a 55g. The footprint is alot better on the 75g.

I have a 55 and I'd love a bigger foot print. Other than that I'm happy w/ mine, and there is still a lot I can do. It is cheaper to run a smaller tank. NoobtoSalt
I Think reefnjunkie was planning on selling his 75. You will always want to go bigger. Might as well start with the 75. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk

Emerald525
I actually would agree you would be happier with the 75 gallon. It really doesn't take up any more room than a 55 gallon but the nice thing is it has a wider depth. I hated that about the 55 gallon we had as our first tank. It only lasted 6 months until we got the 150 gallon. The 55 gallon only has a depth of 12 inches which sucks for finding room to put in rockwork and have enough sandbed to put corals on. reefnjunkie
Bump- plug for 75 gallon, see link in sig (laugh) I agree 75 all the way, whether you buy mine or whom evers, go 75 not 55, same footprint as people have said and you will be much happier
