JManrow Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Welcome Jen. Nice setup! Lots can be done keeping smaller tanks, which was usually discouraged just a few years ago. Nano-Reefs have become very popular lately.http://www.nano-reef.com/ Quote

jennyf78 Posted December 28, 2006 Author Posted December 28, 2006 thats a bummer. it was really pretty, maybe i should give it back. so someone with better lighting can enjoy its color. Quote
reefgeek84 Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 thats a bummer. it was really pretty' date=' maybe i should give it back. so someone with better lighting can enjoy its color.[/quote'] First...welcome... and do not give it back...sometimes corals lose color slightly and then color back up...keep it and see what happens. reefgeek84 Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Looking at the pics some more...that is a huge single head of a trumpet...how long does the base reach down? It looks alot like a small open brain. Quote
spayne Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Kudos to you with your success with a ten gallon nano! Wowsers! Nanos aren't easy... I know. I broke my 20L down right before Turkey Day. (laugh) Quote
jennyf78 Posted December 28, 2006 Author Posted December 28, 2006 the base was cut verry short. and the single head is about 2 thumbs big. Quote
siskiou Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 I started out with a nano-reef (20H) 4 years ago and it's still going strong! Congrats on the nice tank! I really want a Rainford's gobi, but haven't had much luck finding one that eats prepared foods. How long have you had your's? Quote
